Timid...gets pushed around...rarely meets the runner in the hole. He's a good special teams body though and can fill in on passing downs. I wouldn't expect us to re-sign him if he was an UFA, but as long as we can retain him for cheap it was worth keeping him around as he already knows the system.

I wt our coaching staff to thi k more like this, outside the box. Foster competition, create mismatches on the field and maxmize talent at each position. This is why I also think the D should consider moving Ray outside. He's still quick and a very good tackler. I think Ray would make more game changing plays playing outside and mentoring a youngin to ay the middle.
