tsylvester Posted Wednesday at 03:25 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:25 PM Just what the team needs, a high powered offense coming to town and still no answer on whether Lamar Jackson will play. Surely I jest..... The last time these two teams met, Christmas was a week away and the Ravens shut out the Bengals in Cinci, 24-0. It was not a banner day for Jackson, going 8 of 12 for 150 yards, 2 tds, 1 pick. But it was plenty to get the win. Cinci won the early meeting, here, in Baltimore, 32-14, yes, the home field advantage this team used to enjoy, seems to have slipped away in the night, has anyone seen the MayFlower trucks? Without Jackson this team behind Snoop Huntley is a paltry 7-11, there are no big gulps here... We should know if Jackson will play as soon as today, Wednesday or later on this week. Seems even The Minter is getting tired of answering that question, saying tersely that he is day to day. So, who ya got? Quote
tsylvester Posted Wednesday at 06:49 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 06:49 PM Not at practice today for the open portion....mmm Quote
oldno82 Posted Wednesday at 07:21 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:21 PM It may not matter. If he doesn't play we lose. If he does play we probably lose. I really hate to go here, but considering Lamar's lack of availability in recent seasons, do we really want to give him a lucrative extension? If we do, we have to have a quality backup. Let's let Nano have a shot if Huntley can't get the O going this Sunday. Quote
tsylvester Posted Wednesday at 08:08 PM Author Posted Wednesday at 08:08 PM There is a real chance this team loses 3 in a row with the Bills after the Bengals. Going into the bye at 4-4 with 2 division loses, 3 conference loses, would not be conducive to making a post season. Quote
oldno82 Posted Wednesday at 10:43 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:43 PM Jackson came back as a limited participant in full team practice today. Jurgens was a full participant. So some good news, anyway. 1 Quote
tsylvester Posted yesterday at 04:24 PM Author Posted yesterday at 04:24 PM • Practice Status: Jackson is participating in practice for the third straight day this week (limited participant) as he works his way back from a right ankle injury suffered on October 4 against the Tennessee Titans. • Uniform & Drills: He is on the field in full practice gear for the second consecutive day, raising optimism that he could return for Sunday's divisional game against the Cincinnati Bengals. • Official Status: Head coach Jesse Minter will hold a press conference later today, and the Ravens will release their final injury report and official game status this afternoon. tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago T Robinson out for the season with a torn pec.... Quote
oldno82 Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Well that sucks...in addition to all the other sucky news about the game Sunday. Quote
tsylvester Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Interesting, the Ravens have never called Lamar's injury a high ankle sprain, but yesterday after practice, Lamar did..... Quote
oldno82 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago If it is, that would explain why the recovery process has taken as long as it has. Quote

If it is I doubt he plays this week, especially given what he said about the pain he still feels. Gamesmanship, perhaps...... Quote
tsylvester Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago I tell ya, I doubt it happens, the team has many other draft needs. But if they get a shot to draft Tony, wr, Miami, woof woof. He has the speed of Tyrec Hill, but the work ethic and drive of Steve Smith. Great hands, tough catches he makes look easy. Dude is a stud. Watch him if you get a chance Quote
