tsylvester Posted Monday at 04:53 PM Posted Monday at 04:53 PM Short weeks can make for a long weekend. For the working person or the school aged peeps, a Holiday at the end or beginning of the week can be awesome sauce. But when you are an NFL player, a short week doesn't indicate a Holiday break, but a Thursday night game following a game on the previous Sunday. Yeah, soreness is real and strange things happen in Thursday night games. There seems to be an easy answer to the question of who ya got?... But maybe that question should be posed to the Ravens coaching staff or even their front office. The injuries are not just piling up, they are tribbles when they get wet. Yes you know you are old if you get that reference. Who starts at qb for the Ravens, anyone not named Lamar Jackson, maybe our Ole buddy crav will come out of retirement and suit up. Huntley has a toe issue, if ya buy that. Maybe he just didnt want to get back behind that offensive line, I think everyone on the line gave up a sack or multiple hits against the worst defense in the league. So who ya got? Quote
tsylvester Posted Tuesday at 10:29 AM Author Posted Tuesday at 10:29 AM Well it appears that Fruit Loop pulled more than his field goals, has a possible pulled groin and might be heading to IR, instead of a check out line near you. Time to play the Blues, maybe a little crazy Rock, say like the Moody Blues. Moody, Jake, to take over In our "Wildest Dreams" I doubt anyone saw all of these injuries coming. 5 centers Lamar 4 games one time, now IR with a different injury Huntley with a foot or ankle or toe Loop conveniently with a pulled groin, Even Nano has an injured ankle that he says he can play through. Atta boy! Quote
tsylvester Posted Tuesday at 06:31 PM Author Posted Tuesday at 06:31 PM Round and round the wheel turns and it lands on...... Who knows Will it be the rookie with a sore ankle, Nano Will it be Autson Reed, he of the preseason heros now back in the practice squad Or will it be the recently signed journeyman, Kedon Slovis behind center? This should be no fun, but as we said, in a short week, strange things happen. Shoot, if the Bucs can win a game not completing a pass, 0-3, why can't the Ravens win with an inexperienced or no experience quarterback?! Quote
oldno82 Posted Tuesday at 11:16 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:16 PM I still haven't recovered emotionally from the damned Bills game so I can imagine how the team must feel. I wonder how many players are just going to make business decisions all through this game or just mail it in. Or is that the same thing?? Time for the coaching staff to show us what geniuses they are. Quote
tsylvester Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago So Huntley to IR, done for the season and likely his playing days for the Ravens is also over. Nano to get the start, see how long his ankle lasts.mmm Night game, so I will be recording it and focus on the offensive line, point out who screwed the pooch Quote
oldno82 Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I think you can safely point to Rosengarten and Vorhees without even having to record it. Quote
