SpearSrai
Ravens are now in the market for a new primary backup running back to Ray Rice with veteran Ricky Williams announcing that he plans to retire]]> View the full article How much is a guy like Peyton Hillis going to command on the open market? I don't know if anyone is willing to pay him starter money, so he could get back at his old team here... I guarantee he respects our team and our philosophy on offense... Rice and Hillis, with Leach blocking? Come on, man!
papasmurfbell
I think Hillis is a flash in the pan RB. I would not give him much of anything. I would expect some dumb team to give him to much.

papasmurfbell
The thing is someone will want him to be their starter. I would get a rookie as the backup.

papasmurfbell
He is not that good. I would give him $1mil at the max. Someone will give him more. Why would you want him?
SpearSrai
He is not that good. I would give him $1mil at the max. Someone will give him more. Why would you want him? Because I like his sledgehammer style... and he can catch out of the backfield. I'd pay a million a year for him.
papasmurfbell
The problem is a team like Tampa or Miami will give him about $4 mil. The draft can give you a pounder.
