cravnravn Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 - If this were a criminal investigation instead of a search for a football coach, Hue Jackson would be a "person of interest" for the 49ers. Instead, the Baltimore Ravens' quarterbacks coach is someone being discussed by the club as it continues its search for an offensive coordinator. The Jets and Bengals are also reported to be interested in Jackson as offensive coordinator, although new Jets coach Rex Ryan is said to want current coordinator Brian Schottenheimer to remain with New York. As of Wednesday afternoon, no interview had been conducted or is known to be scheduled between Jackson and San Francisco's two-man "search committee" of coach Mike Singletary and general manager Scot McCloughan. more
