Yeah but one of the things is being physically able to stand up to DL's. Is he ready for that? We will see in time. I really know very little about him. I do not believe he was in any of the draft mags I read. If he was he didn't impress them. I never saw him in the OL ratings on the net. He transfered from a major program so ther had to be something there to start with.

 

 

Not to beat a dead horse, but only 1 NFL Team showed up at Joes Pro day after the decent combine he had..I trust our scouting dept, if they seen something they liked in Gino, thats good enough for me.

I concur! lol Absolutely. I have very little to say in regards to this teams ability to find players with the exception of getting a decent WR. It seems they may have finally gotten that monkey off their back.

I don't think the situation is as dire with Birk as everyone says it is. 75% of a center's value is his ability to make the proper calls and get everyone else on the same page. Birk will be fine IMO, pointless to argue bout Gino. I don't even think the Ravens expect Gino to be ready this year.

I didn't say Gino would suck. I just question if he will be starting ready yr 1. Lower picks tend to not be starters on the OL yr 1.
