thundercleetz Posted September 17, 2009 Share Posted September 17, 2009 Riley was extremely raw. Let him develop on the practice squad this year and spend a year in an NFL conditioning program. As bad as Justin Harper's hands were, the improvement he made from last year to this year was incredible. He couldn't catch the ball, but he was always open. Riley has similar tools, and provided he works hard, should see a great jump in his game come next training camp. Like Harbaugh says, the greatest improvement a player sees in his career is usually from year one to year two.
