Brown is a cheap ass. He has no desire to win. He just wants to make as much profit as possible.

I blame them both. FWIW I didn't see Mike Brown throw one single pick six last year while Palmer was stacking them up like Lincoln Logs.

It can be said that Brown's cheap ass attitude and constant meddling has set Palmer and the team up for failure.

That's why he ignored the fact that Johnson and Owens made the team worse. They brought people in to watch football but they did not equal wins.

A very big factor is Carson's wife. She doesn't want to live in Cincinnati anymore. When she left town last November before delivery their third child, she reportedly said she would never return to Cincinnati. Carson did not renew his local golf club membership last November. He had been a member there for 6 - 7 years.

Carson was the main reason Owens was in Cincy last year.

So to blame it all on the Bengals is not completely correct. Unhappy wife is a major factor.
