NFL superstar Ray Lewis admits he fathered an 11-year-old boy in Florida ... and he's totally willing to provide support -- with one caveat ... he doesn't want the baby mama to get her hands on the money.

According to court documents filed in Florida, Lewis has an ongoing paternity case over his son with a woman named Sharnika Kelly. In court papers, Lewis acknowledges being the father, but the issue of support is slightly more contentious ...

According to the docs, Lewis is hesitant to fork over money to Kelly because he says she has an outstanding judgment against her in a civil case ... totaling over $1,000,000.

In the docs, Lewis says he has "grave concerns about the Mother's character" and feels she'll siphon off money meant for his son ... either to pay off her debt or support her other child ... not Ray's.

Lewis is asking the court to establish a guardianship for his son to manage any support Lewis eventually pays.

Lewis and Kelly had a hearing scheduled for last month, but Lewis had to reschedule because he had a game in San Diego. The judge has yet to rule on his request.

He shoudl ask for custody. It sounds like she is a bit out of control.

Three of his children lives in Maryland. He had a son w/Kimberly Arnold (former girlfriend from University of Miami) who was pregnant simultaneously with former fiance Tatiyana McCall with whom he has 3 sons in Orlando, Florida. He has a daughter (Diamond) by a Baltimore City police officer. And the last child (less than 4 years old) is by another woman in Baltimore.

Tonight is about Ray Lewis, once accused of double homicide, the father of six kids by four women, living the word and spreading it through TV cameras dollying around the stage.

So it is 6 according to all the websites I have found. SI being the most reliable. I don't know if this TMZ child is part of that group or a new child. There was a pic a few yrs back and i thought it was higher than 6

Do you guys remember the speech where he named all his kids? I have to find it, it was hysterical. Diamond, Destiny, De'shaunta, Touchdown, GetFiredUp, they were great names.

Bang Cartoons (Dee will remember them) played it once, but I can't find it online anywhere else. Maybe I'll go through their old radio shows.
