  1. According to Espn, Todd is getting an extension, good move Steve, real good move
  2. Bills db Benford got concussed last week, reportedly barely made it out of protocol to play in the Cheifs game. 1 very minor, glancing hit, more of a bump, and dude was in another solar system. Hmm, seem perhaps he "fooled" the tests
  3. Hard to argue against, dude is Sanders/Smith/Brown in one
  4. I'm shocked by some of these hires, should be interesting
  5. Why? Great teammate, solid player, who can play multiple positions, maybe even a hybrid safety. Why reduce the depth at the secondary position?
  6. He is under contract for year, turning 29 by season's start. Give him 3 years, cut the 25 mil in half as a signing bonus.
  7. They should have about $17 mil in cap space, enough to keep most of the team together, before restructure or salary cuts. Curious to see what they do with Humph, first season he made it through injury free, and played like his young self. But he carries a $25 mil cap hit.
  8. Then you can use him at safety or in the Hamilton role, his speed and size . That is the role he was drafted for afterall.
  9. Stephens is an interesting one. Size, speed, he covers tight. If you watch closely, he is beat by perfect throws and incredible catches most of the time. Remember, he was a runningback early in college, then transferred to SMU where they moved him to corner for what 2 seasons? When the Ravens drafted him they did so as a safety, where he played for a year before Wink was fired amd Mac took over. Mac moved him to corner. 2023 was his first season as a starting corner thanks in large part to injuries at the position. So he has onky really had 2 full seasons playing corner. Now he is adapt at playing multiple positions in this defense that likes to run games with who plays corner, safety, dime back on a given play. Yes, he has been burned this year, been a provebial weak link, but his athleticism is hard to walk away from especially given his inexperience
  10. Coach and Gm, Jax is a total mess, I feel bad for Trevor Lawrence.
  11. Yeah, Eric seemed real positive about moving, possibly, Rose to the left side. They seemed to feel real good about free agency and the draft But also settled about the guys on the last year of their contracts as if they will let the contracts play out for now, pending free agency and the draft.
  12. Maybe, I kind of got the impression that they want to run it back again one more year before they are truly forced to make major changes
  13. Yes, sadly, but it was also nice to see so many Bills fans step up and donate to his charity. Mark is a great guy, super player.
  14. Enjoy https://www.youtube.com/live/m-4gxGsK11Y?si=cHou7W5XG7VjPNz-
  15. Depends how much he wants. He played well, I'm not sure that at 27 they can land a starting left tackle. They could always move Rose to the left and get a right tackle I suppose.
  16. So far, thankfully, he is still with us.
  17. They drafted Mason Rudolph in the 3rd to replace Ben, claimed him to be the one... oops They drafted Kenny Picket in the 1st, claiming he to be the one, oops Both, with Tomlin's approval Oh and I lost all respect for Tomlin when he stepped onto the field to slow down Jacoby Jones, then acted as if it was an accident
  18. Not so fast my friend. Tomlin is not the type of coach to sit in a corner and just take what is given him. I am sure they all, Tomlin included said, yes, Mike can help Antonio Brown be a productive Steeler; opps. They may have even said, let us try one more with Mike Wallace, ooops. Did they stop drafting troubled receivers, thinking Tomlin could help them? No, they stiill have done it. This is just proof that while he is a very good coach who knows how to win games against bad teams, he has not, NOT won anything with the teams he has been a part of drafting. His Super Bowl win, a controversial win I might add, was done largely with players drafted & signed as free agents, before he was hired. Andy Read was just like him when Reid was in Phili, 1 Super Bowl appearance, the rest one or two & done. Then he goes to Kc, they get fortunate and have a chance to draft Mahomes. A qb who can run the same offense, Phili ran under Reid; eureka! Yes, Ill take Harbs
  19. I chose Elway because he can run. But you get my point, some of the greats struggle in the post season. To get to the Super Bowl takes many things more than talent, injuries play a roll, the bounce of the ball. Should we destroy Jim Kelly because no team has gone to 4 straight Super Bowls without winning? Oh wait, his kicker went wide a couple of times. Kelly didn't play that well a time or two either. Yet he is a Hall of famer. Same for Marino, it is a team game.
  20. For his post season play, and yes, there is evidence to support them. 8 games, two turnovers in 4 of them, and loses because of them, largely. However, a Hall of Fame quarterback, one many consider one of the best ever, had a very similar start. I give you, and no, stop it, don't insult our intelligence by suggesting I am saying Lamar is as good, I am not, just trying to show that early on, yes, some great do struggle. So I give you John Elway in the post season So, given how well Lamar played in the 2nd half, i would say give him a break
  21. I like him, a do it all defender, can play tackle or end. He does need a little motivation from time to time and to stay in scheme, but he could be a real good one.
  22. Tomlin has been a part of the process that has not been able to find a qb, has drafted problem receivers they have traded away each year for the past umpteenth years. Yes, sure, okay
  23. Harbs has his short comings, but with whom do you replace him?
  24. Barclay is incredible, but his runs were on two plays, other than those two, then Rams shut him dow. The way to stop him is by staying in gaps, which the Rams did well except on those two plays.
  25. You should check out the Jason Garret YouTube show for NFL films on the evolution of throwing. It is fantastic and Fields could benefit from it. He also has to learn how to read defenses post snap, like Wilson, take away his first read, he panicks. His saving grace is he can run, Wilson can't any longer
