Ravens claimed him on waivers in a strictly compensatory move. A few Ifs remain, IF they are awarded him, then he would NOT be able to play until next season. IF they do get him and someone signs him, they get a comp pick. Frankly, why reward the guy? How big a comp pick do you think they would get IF he did get signed by another team?
-
Just unreal the way he pouts after games, wins especially just because he doesn't get every pass. Hmm take a page from the book of an Eagles wide out, maybe learn something about humility on a TEAM. Don't like it, play tennis, golf, shoot pool for a living. He is likely done now, I can't believe anyone will sign him going forward

I expect the Bills to have Milano shadow Lamar, spy him as he did Nix in the Denver game Also to not do what the Steelers do by attacking Henry on the zone read, rather, attack the mesh with the end/outside backer That is the proper way to go. I don't expect another game of 50 runs, even though they are not great at stopping the run, they have added a couple of tackles to their line rotation, fresh meat I think once they get past the scripted plays, it will be a lot of players action to draw the linebackers up, then crossing & seam routes behind them. They may be at "full" strength on defense, but they are still 17th overall on defense, 24th against the pass. 19th in average yard per pass

What papa said, Rose did a great job on him, plus he was still nursing injuries. We forget how totally draining it is to defend 1 90+ yards drive, but to defend 2 of them plus a 13 play, all run 85 yard drive, all in the first half! It's why the half was so "short" and what wore them down But the Steelers decided to crash on Henry when it was zone read, they didn't count on Lamar taking the run, he was hesitant to earlier this year. Now what will the Bills do? They have faster linebackers, especially with Milano back, and safeties when they go dime, a defense they play pretty much all of the time. But, those players are under sized, even Milano, so while they may be able to be speedy enough to hold Lamar down running, they will take punishment trying to tackle Henry. Plus, their dime backs are not big enough nor fast enough to stay with Andrews and Likely, those two may be the key for the Ravens in the passing game. Their backers will play closer to the los, opening up big areas behind them.
-
Depends on the defensive coverage. Stephens plays the dime backer when the Ravens are in dime. The corner when they are in nickle. The best way to prevent Shakir is actually with the drop of the backers, get a good deep drop and keep your feet moving, following Josh's eyes. This will make those crossing routes more difficult. It is the way they stopped them back in week what four, five when they held them to 10 points. I don't expect the same result, but 17, maybe 20, sure.

CTB, catch-the-ball Not just the offense, but the defense. No, Josh doesn't throw a lot of picks, one reason maybe because defenders are shocked that he threw an errant pass, they drop the ball. Defense has to catch the one or two bad throws he will make, they won't come often, nor be many, but catch the game changers when they come.

Dopey Dan, one of the few times i want to egg on Steven A
-
Buffalo doesn't have a true deep threat but Shakir is a real intermediate one, deadly on crossing routes. Their defense still has issues with coverage and can be run on, Denver just didn't stick with it nor do they have a very good running game.

Yeah, I'm glad it is at a time i can watch in real time, though I love fast forwarding through the commercials These teams know each other well, the path to the Super Bowl should be hard. But this team knows how to beat the best, be themselves, for they are among the best.

Hope not, at least Harbs can get a playoff win

Sunday, 6:30, get the popcorn ready.

Yeah, a lot of their local radio hosts and reporters as well

That is unless Denver mounts a massive 4th quarter comeback, down 28-7. We shall find out just how good this secondary is, granted they were great at the beginning of the season when the Ravens shut down Allen and the Bills, winning 35-10 with 271 rushing yards. You can bet the Bills will do everything they can to try and stymie the Ravens running game. Ruah lane discipline will be key, ball security goes without saying I suppose. How this game will go is difficult to say, the Bills defense is not as good as it was at the beginning of the season due to losses caused by injuriess. So, who ya got?
-
What gets me is when their linemen PULL from in front, that is illegal and should be called. What a catch, how did he keep his feet from touching the end line?
-
I could see them going after the Cheetah if he really wants out of Miami
-
Denver front 7 is small, easy to run on of you stick to it and run at them. Denver d is built for pass defense
-
Denver just hit deep, Bills defense decimated with injuries, this game should be a shoot out even with Denver's good d
-
No way I give Fields, who can't read a defense post snap, that much money. Maybe a 3 year prove it deal with a load of incentives. The way Heyword and Fitzpatrick talk it is un steeler like play this year on defense. Neither named names, even Watt backed up their line of talking with some not sticking to their assignments. I have to wonder, were they talking about Elliot & Queen to name just two? Those two were known here to freelance, Queen, one knock on him pre-Smith, was that he often went to the wrong hole when filling a run hole.
-
Yep, they got them selves into quite a pickle at the qb position, neither played exceptionally well nor are under contract. And with only Pickens as a threat they are easy to defend. With Hayward getting agent, their Run defense is a sieves,
-
For weeks the leaders on defense for Pit have said that guys were playing hero ball, getting out of position, not maintaining gaps. The result, 5 straight loses, their vaunted run defense shredded. Not sure how you fix that, is that on Tomlin or the defensive coordinator?
-
80 regular season wins in the last 6 years is the most by a team in NFL history to not win a playoff game. That is tough. Tomlin is a very good coach, he would be offered a contract as soon as he was fired. But that offense is the problem, the line, the quarterback, the receivers? No real discipline on defense. In this game, the announcers made it clear that the focus was on stopping Henry getting going, to let Lamar run instead. Bad philosophy
-
What used to happen against Pit. In the 2nd game, those three fumbles would have been recovered by Pit, and we lose. In this game, the muff punt in the 1st near the goal line would have been recovered and returned by Pit. The last 2 mins of the half, Hill would have fallen when he tripped going in for the score, fallen down and be touched, time would have run out. Or after Likely makes that nice catch, as his arm is flailing, with the ball in 1 hand, the defender would have knocked it out. Pit would have recovered and gone down to score before half. Not Any More Agent 0

Total and complete domination, 1 yard shy of 300 yards rushing, 39 and 1/2 minutes of game time, what?! Sure, out scored 14-7 in the 2nd half, what did you think it would be easy to shut them out? That is okay when you have a 21 pt lead. 1 down

Another 90 yard drive end in a Touchdown Ravens! 21-0 at the half
