Last year the Ravens were near the tops of the league in 90+ yard scoring drives, especially the ones ending with a touchdown. Let's see if they can keep it going

Ravens won the toss, deferred Returned to the 22 of Cleveland Ali hurt on the return, walked off Pass complete under pressure for a gain of 6 Another pass, 2 Raven defenders watch him catch then struggle to bring him down at the 39 Run up the middle tackled for a loss of 2 Screen, Hamilton reads it quickly, gets behind the blockers, tackled for a loss of 3 3rd and 15 False start, back em up 3rd and 20 Swing pass gets 13, punt time Wester forced to fair catch at their own 11 (he has lots of room even though it was a high punt)

All right let's see if the secondary can play smart, play together or was it right in saying no to Alexander... Can this pass rush take flight, or will it force the Ravens to make a move for a pass rusher Jadeveon Clowney Shaquil Barrett Preston Smith DeMarcus Walker Carl Lawson
-
Ravens restructure Smith’s contract, gain $8 mil in cap space, giving them just over $10 mil. I wonder if it is a move for a trade or a free agent signing? Maybe a move to sign one of the young linemen?

Man, some incredible games yesterday, just wow... Hope today is just as satisfying
-
Their pass rush, Garret, might keep this game close, but if the Ravens can run the ball effectively, that should quell their pass rush. Ronnie and Rose will have their hands full

Well, it hasn't been pretty every year, infact the the team first came here Art couldn't afford a practice squad, even held open tryouts. I seriously considered trying out to volunteer as a tackling dummy, figured construction had kept me in decent shape, still had my instincts. But my wife, the smart one of the marriage pointed out that I was 29, had bad knees, and being in weekend warrior shape was completely different than practice squad shape for an NFL team. There was a lot of terrible play on both sides of the ball early on. Even the first Super Bowl winning team, 5 games of no touchdowns, no real starter at quarterback certainly didn't have us thinking that they could, let alone would. But once we saw the playoffs in reach, and that defense, there was little doubt by seasons end. Super Bowl win number 2 was just as unexpected, we had a quarterback, but he was young, the line not that great and inconsistent wide receivers. Then the playoffs started and the incredible plays started going our way. How about that fourth down pass in the last minute of the game, down by 7, for a 70 yard touchdown! Ravens won in double overtime. Yes, the team has changed, we finally have a "franchise", "elite" quarterback, one clearly headed to the Hall of Fame. An offense that can score quickly or run you over from one end of the field to the other. No, the team is not perfect, but it is a playoff team, and no matter what, they are ours, bumps and bumps, warts and all. My favorite memory though is actually of training many years ago. I met the now late great sockdolager from this board at camp. We talked and watched the team, after practice ended, he and I got to interview Clarence Moore, quite a thrill for the both of us. Ah camp, it used to be a great, free time at the college. 30 years, so many memories

“Our players’ safety is of the utmost importance,” a Ravens spokesperson told PFT on Thursday. “We have spoken to Lamar, who understands the impact of the situation, about the incident. “While we will keep internal matters private, we have implemented additional security protocols — both at home and on the road — to better protect our players and handle negative fan interactions moving forward.” The league will not be taking any action, we’re told. Instead, they have deferred to the Ravens Great news https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/ravens-have-addressed-the-lamar-jackson-fan-interaction-internally

Hey, I'm with ya, boo, cheer, go home, all a fan should do outside of eating and drinking.
-
Hard to just walk away, but then that is just another reason why they get paid millions
-
I'm not saying either will be charged, just that they could be. Lamar had an opportunity to walk away, just as his teammates walked away and ignored the drunken idiot
-
On both of their parts actually

Well, technically it is battery, so there is that....

A lucky tipped pass for a touchdown and a lucky missed bkock kick on the final play of the game https://www.si.com/nfl/bills-field-goal-kyle-hamilton-almost-bloced

Okay, time to move on. The Browns come to town, now, will there be a hangover from that late night fantastically high flying LOSS, after surrendering a 15 point lead in the 4th quarter? Will they be mad, crazy mad as most fans are today, and take it out on the Browns? Cleveland's defense is for real, let us start there. They held the high flying Bemgals offense to, ready, 7 yards, yes, 7 yards in the 2nd half of their game. They have a tremendous pass rush, the Ravens line will be tested early and often. The Browns offense though is not that dangerous, no matter who is at quarterback. But we know Joe, he loves to throw crossing and seam routes, and take shots deep down field. But he is a statue, just as likely to dump it down to keep from being clobbered. Their only real threat is at tight end where the Ravens have a terrible time covering. Folks, I love Joe, yes, the Super Bowl run was the most unexpected run I've ever witnessed. But more than that, he finished a half with a torn acl & pcl, I'll never forget how tough he is. With that said, it is clobbering time, its time to wake up this pass rush, ther line of the Browns is not very good, get to him early and often. So, who ya got?

A fan pushed Lamar's head after the Hop td. Lamar pushed the fan back. Fan was banned Now the problem, players are prohibited from touching fans, even in a retaliation way. Automatic suspension so the rules say. So, does Lamar get suspended and for how long?
-
So a fan pushes Lamar's head, Lamar pushes him back. Fan was banned for life. Now, does Lamar get suspended, per league rules?

Harbs is tied for 15th in NFL history in wins, with 1 super bowl victory.

Stephens was getting torched by Rogers, a pi that lead to a score, a dropped int that resulted in a score oh and giving up big plays, because he "slipped". It's one game, the 1st game. Im gonna chalk it up to running out of gas. This was a team loss, offense could have won the game by running out the clock. They could have been more aggressive in the 4th and score another time when up by 15. The defense could have made one stop at the end. Or how about that 4th and 2 in the redzone where the pass was tipped and bounded to a Bills receiver for a score. No, you should not lose a game where you score 40 pts, yes, run the clock out, maybe throw on 1st down with less than 2 mins left in the game and they are expecting a run...
-
40 points, not ready to play? 15 pt lead in the 4th quarter, not ready to play? 3 punts? The Bills once again could not stop this offense for 3 quarters. No, they were ready to play, with just over 2 minutes left in the game, the Ravens had the ball. Yet they ran out of gas or took their foot off of the gas earlier in the quarter, maybe thinking 1 td in the 4th was enough. Even so, the offense could have iced the game, Bills had 0 timeouts left. 1 or 2 1st downs, Ravens win 40-38. But no, maybe conditioning was the factor? Then maybe it was coaching. The defense reversed back to last year's early defense, cant hold a lead. This after a pretty good first game of the season performance against one of the best teams in the league, holding them to 25 pts in 3 quarters. Stopping not 1, not 2, but what, 3 2 pt conversions? But alas, when this team needed a stop, they just ran out of gas. The Bills had almost 500 yards of total offense, 497, became the 1st team to overcome a 15 pt deficit in the final 4 minutes of a season opener in history, of course while wearing Pocahontas under shorts So yes, maybe it was coaching; conditioning for 4 quarters
-
They didn't look much better, clearly this was week 4 of the preseason Wilson, 17 of 37, ouch for 168 Daniels 19 of 30 for 233 1 td 68 yards rushing
-
Burrow only had 114 yards passing on 15 of 24. Flacco had 291 yards on 31 of 45, but has 2 picks... Bengals had only 141 total yards

Jets lost this game more than the Stillers won. Fields made the wrong call on a few zone reads on a couple of third downs. Then he stops short of running for a 1st down on 4th with 30 seconds left, instead throws it to a tightly covered recover who gets pummeled and drops the ball. Misses extra point so they chase points, cost them two pts on 2 failed 2 pt conversions. This game should have gone to over time if anything. They also dropped at least 2 picks...

Stephens is killing the Jets, blown coverage, dropped int, now a penalty. DK, 2 drops, another one good defense I suppose now a lucky couple of bounces from another drop gets him a catch
