  1. A run gets 1, another pass on a crossing route gets 15, no pressure on the pocket Run to the left gets 3 Run to left guard, cuts back up the middle for 12 Naked boot fools everyone, pass to Adunze gets 12 From the Baltimore 18 Run off the right tackle for 7 Play fake roll left, Williams gets 2 3rd and 1, flag, whistle, false start 3rd and 6 Williams has ro flee, gets outside, throws complwtw for a 1st down Swift up the middle for 3 2nd and goal from the 4 Run right, Jones forces him deep, tackled for anloss of 2 Williams no where to throw, rolls right into a sack by Green. Field goal of 32 yards is good 3-0 Bears 8 minute or so drive that was very, very easy for the Bears
  2. Baltimore wins the toss, call the game now! Former Baltimore wide out, Dev Duv, takes the kickoff to the 35 but holding on them backs them up 10. Remember, it is a career to them just a game to us. So we should just let it go especially if it is not fun. 1st play, pass to the flat to a tight end, wide open, a missed tackle later he gets 18 yards.
  3. The team could be fined & or lose draft picks because of this gaf... Per NBC A qb who can't throw further than 10 yards, so glad there were some great games, college, on yesterday. South Carolina didn't care that they had a losing record, they should have won that game againt Bama, out played them until their coach let them down with a few bad play calls at the end.. We know that feeling well, do we not!
  4. Oh shame on me, I got up the following morning of that Bills game and ran into a maintenance worker here who is also a big Baltimore football team fan. We had a great talk, I quelled his fears of the team loss, reassured him, 164 yards rushing for Henry, 40 pts, this team is goimg far! I hang my head every day since when our paths cross, ashamed how wrong I was... Never more
  5. I just cannot wrap my head around this fall. Both the season and what has happened to this team. They were blowing out the Bills, again in the regular season, scored 40 pts through the air and on the ground. Then they fall apart as a team, physically and mentally all because they blew another lead, a double digit lead, against said Bills, once before in the playoffs by turning the ball over and not forcing enough 3 & outs. Ie- a team loss. Now they can't tie their shoes, can't walk and chew gum, would rather eat spicy chicken tacos than play a game they are paid millions to play. So the coach decides the best way to handle this is to bam all table games from the locker room? Ie, we have a bunch of spoiled kids, 8, 9 year olds misbehaving. You can't make this up, the Baltimore football team is the laughing stock of the league and placating Lamar by signing his friends I am sure has made some of the brats on the team throw hissy fits.
  6. This is too funny, both laughable and odd Sometimes, you don’t have to. Only one day after the NBA found itself embroiled in the biggest scandal to date of the era of legalized, normalized, and heavily monetized sports betting, the Ravens (and, necessarily, the NFL) stepped on a giant rake. Two-time MVP Lamar Jackson, who last played in Week 4, finally returning to practice this week. He was listed as limited on Wednesday and Thursday. Then came Friday. The Ravens listed Jackson as a full participant in practice. That sent a distinct message to the public. And, for these purposes, the betting public. It suggested that Lamar is good to go. That Lamar will be playing. Which surely influenced more than a few spread and moneyline wagers placed on Baltimore since the label was applied. Today, out of nowhere, Jackson was ruled out for Sunday’s game. And then, to make matters MUCH worse, his practice status for Friday was retroactively changed from “full” to “limited.” There’s plenty of digging to be done as to what actually happened, and as to how much he did or didn’t practice on Friday. Needless to say, it’s the worst possible thing that could have happened for the NFL — at the worst possible time. And here’s the real question. Who knew before today that Lamar wouldn’t be playing? The Ravens put Tyler Huntley at the podium this week, and Lamar didn’t speak to reporters. In hindsight, the breadcrumbs were there that Lamar, even if in uniform, possibly wouldn’t be starting. For now, it sounds like someone got freaked out by the NBA scandal and made a rash decision that sends up gigantic red flags. Either way, we have a feeling there’s a lot more to the story. And there’s a chance that it may get worse, not better, as more comes out. Meanwhile, Big Shield starts in Las Vegas. Coincidentally, the shit eventually hits the fan in Baltimore. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/sean-mcdermott-is-8-0-after-bye-weeks-best-record-in-nfl-history
  7. Lamar is out for this game. I guess those spicy tacos got his belly doing the watusi.... So, how many wins will this team end up with this year? My gues is that the Baltimore football team will win 5 Ravens rule out Lamar Jackson, admit he was not a full participant in Friday's practice - NBC Sports https://share.google/5cr0LDCX88nBs9lnp
  8. Lawson signed, being described as anything will help this defense of the Baltimore team. His signing is likely a stretch, a big stretch of the word help....
  9. No no, those are not on Lamar, the defenders were suppose to drop those ints and the fumbles, were not fumbles, he was down.
  10. Yeah, Henry, Flowers & Rush, the lawfirm of turnovers will often skews stats
  11. I expect more of Bullock & or Cleveland in this game, should open holes even you could run through
  12. Yep, should be a short game, may break a record for rushing yards in a game.
  13. Bears are only letting up 22 pts per game, 2nd in the league. They are 16th against the pass, 212 yards per game, but a whopping 137 on the ground, 25th in the league. Seems, just as against the Rams, Henry, early and often, no matter who is qb for the Baltimore team
  14. Not sure I can honestly call this team the Ravens, seriously, they certainly haven't "played like Ravens", they are clearly not talking like Ravens, and now, if reports are true, they are not even thinking like Ravens. I don't even think baby birds would chirp and whine as much as this group has over the bye week. Lamar, will he play, won't he play? He missed practice Monday and Tuesday, but he was reportedly at practice today. Maybe the hamstring is healed, who knows, those things are as pesky as a tummy that cant handle spicy food. Speaking of which, Lamar was caught out late earlier this week, getting some good food from a truck, spicy food, yeah, the kind that has had his tummy tumbling round & round in the past. So maybe the hammy is fine and his thrown is calling. Who wins? The Baltimore team is favored, last I lookesld, by 6 pts Last year's team, sure, this year's team is scared by the sound of the wind... So, who ya got? https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/news/baltimore-ravens-lamar-jackson-fires-back-online-troll-accusation
  15. Ravens worked out Carl Lawson, 30 year old, 5 sacks last year in 15 games https://heavy.com/sports/nfl/baltimore-ravens/carl-lawson-workout-bengals-free-agency/
  16. Oh yeah, the defensive players are so "scared about making a mistake and losing their job" thqt they then cant do theor jobs, but Orr is a perfect coach...
  17. Wow, I grew up in CT, went to College in MA, never heard of Curry. Any who, Curry's Montie Quinn set NCAA single-game rushing record https://share.google/RzQplINSYvJZHHnE5 The game was starting to get out of hand, but coach Todd Parsons decided not to pull his star, noticing something special was happening. “In the back of my head, I kind of had it in my mind, but you don't really realize what's going on,” Parsons said. “He's breaking all these long touchdown runs, and you've kind of figured he's gonna hit something.” After three quarters, Quinn was 30 yards away from the NCAA record of 465, set by Heidelberg’s Cartel Brooks in 2013. So what did Quinn do on his first carry in the final frame? Take it 85 yards to the house. Record broken on his longest run of the day, set on his seventh score of the day. Quinn made history with more than nine minutes left in the game and his day was wrapped up. The final stat line was 522 yards on just 20 carries – an average of 26.1 yards per run — with seven touchdowns. The Nichols Bison spent much of the day watching No. 1 with the guardian cap running past them with eight rushes over 25 yards.
  18. Lots of fodder being fhrown around, "sources" have told the sun, etc... Sounds like they are all, players and coaches, weak minded and are in need of being slapped. Quite frankly I am sick of this team if the "sources" are correct. Blast Monken, stand up for Orr? Really? Blast the guy who had this offense tops in the league? Who called plays that had this offense scoring 40 on Buffalo? And because the defense shit the bed against the Bills, it is Todd's fault? He has no imagination? I am not saying the play calling has been perfect, if you have read through the game threads, you saw my disdain for some of the calls and personnel packages. But Oz has been wrong on his play calls and personnel groupings far, far more often. It is he who has NOT put his players in a position to succeed. Quite, quite disingenuous of the players, again, if those revelations are true.
  19. Losing a front tooth wouldn't hurt either
  20. Now that would be hysterical
  21. Joe and Aaron looked phenomenal, the vaunted Steeler defense not so. Are the Steelers as good as their record? 4-2? Sure, they haven't really played anyone- any good. Is Cinci as bad as their record? 3-4? They lost their starting qb at the start of the season, had a professional backup start for a couple of games and NOT look as good as he did the last time he had to start for a few games. In comes January Joe in October, 1-1 so far, a game across the pond and 1 on a short week. Their defense is still as bad as ever, but did Joe help keep hope alive in Cinci land?
  22. Almost all of the free agent signings were bad, not counting the Henry, or even Ro trades. I love Hopkins and he still has great hands, but really, he can't get open in a timely manner any more.
  23. I agree, Ozzie trailed off like "smoke from a distant fire"... Savage was a bigger loss than I think many realize, but, again, this team was a perenial playoff team for the two years, really the past five with a couple of blips mixed in. 2018-10-6 2019- 14-2 2020-11-5 2021-8-9 2022-10-7 2023-13-4 2024-12-5 2025? 19 is Eric's forst draft, Ozzie sees his drafts almost pay off with a great season, disappointing post season. Coach changes on offense, worked out great unless Lamar is hurt. The defense though, went steadily down hill, coach changes there were covered up, first with Ro Smith, his short forst year here after the trade was epic as was the year after, but then.... He helped to cover up the bad defensive calls by the inept coach. Secondary failed big time, sure it improved a time or two, but injuries there became a running joke for a few years. No depth on the defense, no matter how many secondary players they signed or drafted, it was like putting your finger in a leaking dike. Same for the defensive line: no depth.Eric failed in his leaps to find an edge rusher, at a bargain price. He was fooled year after year, not by undrafted players, but some were even 1st round picks. We see the fruition of Eric's drafts today: 1-5
  24. Everyone thought he would have to he great, learning from Ozzie who drafted Hall of Famer after Hall of Famer. Problem, scouts leave, a new coach takes over and demands things his way. A big deal was made about all of the undrafted free agents the Ravens would find and sign, then into solid starters, usually on defense. But maybe, just maybe we over look all of the draft picks that are missed, giving a need for the undrafted players who maybe, should have been drafted instead of some of the others who were drafted...
  25. He officially took over the 2019 season, meaning he pulled the trigger on the drafts from that time forward. Wanna know why this team fell off of the cliff, while teams like the Rams, cap he'll, keep winning? Look at their drafts, teams are best built by good drafts and development of players. San Fran, LA Rams, Denver, even in Kc and Buffalo, Phili, top dollar qbs, ends, wrs, missed with solid drafts and player development. How has Eric done? In 2019, only 2 players from that draft actually became decent or better players, 1st round Wr Marquis Brown (traded away) and Justice Hill draft in the 4th. 9 players were drafted by the Ravens that year, only 2 turned out, 1 still on the team. 2020 saw 10 players drafted, only 2 are still on the team, our two big defensive tackles, both on ir, one for the season who may be done for good. Six players drafted in the top 3 rounds, 2 were traded away, 1 as we said may be done, 1, Malik Harrison, was never more than a role player and has been released. 2021 saw 8 draft picks, 2 in round 1, 4 in the top 3 rounds. We have to think someone had to be a hit in those high draft picks, right? Bateman, Oweh, Cleveland, Stephens. One traded, one allowed to walk, one always in the doghouse so far away he cant see the field. And one, drafted to be a #1 wr, but barely scrapes by as a number 2. How about the other 4 players drafted in the 4fh & 5th rounds? Only 1 remains, Wallace, who is a returning guy, occasionally. 2022 a whopping 11 players drafted who should be ripening this year to blossom, right? Once again 4 picks in the top 3 rounds including 2 1st round picks, cant miss again, cant they? Well, Hamilton was a huge hit bought time if ya ask me. Lindy as well, a very good starter at center, waiting on a long term contract. Travis Jones and excellent 3rd round pick for the defensive line, he stuffs the run in two gaps, collapses the pocket when pass rushing, fantastic big man in the rotation, when he can stay healthy. Jordan Stout, an okay punter, does have a big leg when he can get a good drop on the ball.... Likely is due for a nice fat contract as the new tight end and Faalele has started at guard the past two years, badly, but hey he starts, that has to count for something right? Kolar is a good team player, blocks well for a tight end and has dependable hands when he can get open. The rest, I think are flipping burgers some where... 2023 only 6 picks in this draft, really the two previous drafts, each with 2 1st round picks were the ones that should have provides both plenty of starters TODAY, and solid depth. Flowers was taken in the 1st, a real nice wr who tries to do too much sometimes. Tavius Robinson is an excellent rotational big man on the defensive line, everyone expected him to take it to the next level this year, but he struggled so far this year until he broke his foot against the Rams. Vorhees was taken in the 7th, thought to be a steal because he would miss all of that year recovering from an injury he suffered at the combine. He is starting this year, but so far, has not been the player most envisioned. 2024 9 players drafted, 3 in the top 3. Wiggins so far is proving to be a very good corner. Rosegarden has not taken the next step, yet, in his development, but is an decent right tackle. Isaac cant seem to stay healthy so there is no good way to determine is he is a good rush end or not. What is the saying, the best ability is availability.... Tez Walker only catches touchdowns, 3 so far. He does flash on special teams but cant Crack the playing time line up on offense. Quite disappointing but some are starting to wonder if he, like Cleveland is being unfairly kept out playing time...... Tampa and Ali are only now starting to get playing time mostly due to injuries & or blow outs.... 2025 Had 11 draft picks,3 in the top 3. While it is for too early to judge it does appear that Starks is as advertised, Loop has done a decent job taking over for Tucker, the rest are barely roll players at best so far. Yeah, when you look at his drafts together, on paper, wow, he really missed, or these players didn't get good enough coaching. But then, only a couple went on to other teams and are playing well. So did he realkt miss on all of those players? Is that why this team has fallen and cant get up?
