  1. RG needs the start if anything else would have proved that today. Lamar was hit hard often, Ingram injured, how bad we have to wait and see. BeastDrews hobbled, Peters, etc.. If they can't beat that terrible Steeler team who cares, it would be awesome to knock them out again, but a healthy team is more important.
  2. #1 SEED! WOO -HOO! I've rarely seen a team play so badly, be so ill prepared, yet win... It was ugly, there were major mistakes, injuries, leg cramps from players not hydrating all week.... Coaching mistakes, fumbles, penalties, but they won. A special shout out to Chuck Clarke, I ride him hard and yes he gave up a touchdown, but he played a great game, best on the defense this week.
  3. Zeus jr has really impressed me this year. If you recall, I "begged" the Ravens not to draft him only to have them draft him right after I posted not to in the draft thread. He was lazy and weak, slow, took his size for granted coming out of college amd struggled with speed rushers because of the aforementioned. Yet this year he has turned completely around. When he hits free agency, he will get paid nicely. It's nice to be wrong sometimes.
  4. 10 game win streak, gotta think outside the box to keep it going

  6. Can the Ravens defense stop the edges of rush the Browns love to run? If so, this will be a blowout win. The Browns are heard yelling to other teams to trade for them; wanting out of Cleveland. The Ravens are on a 10 game win streak, 12 players voted to the pro bowl game. Over confidence might set in which would allow the Browns to stay on top and possibly win. However! The Browns made the Ravens look like fools 11 games ago, so my thoughts are; Beware Browns; Something Wicked This Way Comes! Ravens by 17
  7. The temptation from Sauron R-revenge A-avenge V-vengence E-eye for an eye N-nemesis S-ortie Sauron will use his book of spells to temp our warriors into acting out of emotion, to seek revenge for a past loss. But revenge comes from conceit, it burns down deep and forces one to act out of character. To beat Sauron's species of arrogance, insolence, bluster and conceit, our clan has to fight with passion from their heart with their minds. You see passion is not an emotion that whithers away, it is a state of being. Avenge is a better choice, seeking to right a wrong done to others. Revenge is personal, but to avenge is for others, for your clan. A clan is a gathering of people from all walks of life, working together for everyone's enjoyment, a true flock if you will. Our warriors must not only fight their foe but their thirst for revenge. Sauron will tempt them, their foe will mock them, but if our warriors stay true to them selves, they will be victorious in the end.
  8. He is stating no team should pick him up off of waivers, he only wants to play for the Ravens, who have the last waiver spot.
  9. Well there is that, but tjat extra time could also give the Ravens not only rest, but time to prepare for the changes they will have to make when playing a team for the 2nd maybe even third time in a season....
  10. Nice Papa, hadn't thought of him but now that you mention him, he would be a great choice.
  11. Oh, & I love T Sizzle as a player, just to make that clear, but his days are over.
  12. Let today happen, see where we stand tomorrow. Maybe we are a step closer but we can't be a step further away. 12 and freaking two... Play off bound, Central Champs, top seed as of today, maybe tomorrow we lock up the top seed because of what happens today? But they can't lose out on the top seed, nor on a playoff birth nor on the AFC Champs by what happens today...enjoy the rest for tomorrow we begin!
  13. While the Ravens are haing issues on setting the edge and while Suggs is a great locker room guys/ leader, he would play, what 10 snaps a game? He might help in theory.... With all of the hard work this team has put in this year, guys working hare, getting few stats but still making a difference and younger... Will there really be a difference made by Suggs that helps the team when one of those younger guys making a small difference is cut in favor of an old, fan fav player who can't make any more than a small difference?
  14. The snapper is supposed to be protected from being lined up over him.. So maybe there should have been a penalty called on the Jets. Even so, long snapping and having to come up quickly to block is very difficult. Morgan has done a great job over the years, the Ravens have been good at drafting long snappers with quick, firey, accurate snaps. In the end, eh for now.
  15. I'll add, while "retard" is in many people's cultural vocabulary, using it as an insult should be worked out of their vocabulary just like many other words. To wit, this speaks even louder on just say no;
  16. Tucker has been so automatic, deep kick offs as well. Could be just a tired leg. I would like to know if he is told to kick the ball short and allow a return or if he is just missing it; it doesn't take much to miss hit a kick and not have it gp further. Normally he kicks it out of the endzone, in the playoffs, I expect we see that more unless he has a leg issue. Limit the kickoffs return yards.. The punt block could be as simple as a missed block a Thursday missed assignment, more than a real issue. Is the long snapper tired? His snap going back slower; another Thursday night tired situation?
  17. Just no, they don't need his attitude in this secondary, nor do they need his inflated talent. He gets burnt more often than Carr, the Ravens have a nice mesh right now, just say No...
  18. Sauron thought he finnally found a way, to make our brave warriors lose their way. He sent his henchmen in to invade the land, that belonged to the great, Ravens clan. A battle so quickly right after another, Sauron thought he could get them running back to their mother. But our wonded and weiry warriors of Baltimore, beat and battered his army until they begged for no more. So now our clan gets a nice little break, to get rested and ready to continue their campaign. They have shown that they can win any fight, gritty and dirty or flying sky high. The campaign will continue, the battles will ensue, but for now our brave warriors are 12-2. When will they lose, how many will they win? We must keep on reading for when the next battle begins.
  19. He locked up the MVP last night me thinks, still 2 games to gp for him, 3 for the other contenders....
  20. I think we have to give the special teams and even the defense a mulligan to some degree, a Thursday night game, short rest always wears on teams. So the next 10 days should give them a much needed rest. Still, the defense is giving up big yards on the run off of the edges of the offense. Good teams will take full notice and advantage of that in the playoffs if Wink doesn't fix this issue. There were still some coverage issues, better receivers would have torn this secondary up, but again, short week, big lead, bad team; players relax a bit, tire out sooner, mentally tire out as well. All those yards in the first half and the defense only gave up 7; tipped field goal, good redzone stand, nice work.
  21. It is a joy to watch.
  22. 10 in a row, wow. AFC north champs, awesome! It was great to see Roberts and Boykin get touchdowns, they work so hard. Roberts especially, he has taken a beating this year with some tough catches and getting hit hard. That td pass to him was a great catch and may be Lamar's best pass to date, a thing of beauty.
  23. Beating them the last game of the year if they are still tied to the wildcard teams...
  24. Ok Spen, so the next time you are anything but over joyed by the way a player makes a mistake, it must me you want that player to fail because you don't like that player. Sound fair? Didn't think so. I have never said I hope nor implied that Lamar nor any other player fail nor disliked them before they had time to show if they could play in this league. Have I said I think a player will be a bust? Yep, just like every other person who has ever talked about players in the history of fandom. Not once, however, have I said Lamar would not be a good quarterback. Just because I discuss what he needs to work on or ask a question as to wonder why he doesn't see the one on one coverage on the outside and chose to throw there, does not mean nor should anyone infer my dislike for him. That is on you or anyone else, your mistake. Did I rant about him having issues throwing in the rain or wind? In fact, I went so far to say that the win should not bother him because of his ball flight and strong arm. Thanks, have a good night.
  25. Max, not just back to back AFCN champs, but also maybe back to back years of knocking the Steelers out of the playoffs....
