  1. Echoing Crav and Oldno, I have no clue which team shows up.  Conventional wisdom says we start out slow on offense yet again (imagine that!), our dysfunctional defense allows Justin Fields to light up our secondary, and we get behind right away.

Maybe Lamar and the O figure it out but I don’t see a scenario where we win in except for another come from behind game like Minnesota or Detroit.

Otherwise, it looks like a get right game for Fields and Chicago, and Harbs is will be clamoring that we got to look at the tapes and get better.

Maybe playing the Browns at home the following weekend brings about a sense of urgency to help turn this ship around.

    My two cents ….

  2. Well, lets hope we learned something from MIA debacle.  Chicago's D and Khalil Mack will be bringing the house.

I say we run the dang ball down their throats - like we did to LA and Denver - and open up the passing game.

Lets hope this becomes the "get well" game for Lamar & Co.

  3. Lamar and The Ravens were never ready tonight.  The absence of a legit offensive backfield and number of guys on the DL, esp the secondary, has finally caught up with these guys.

The Bears and Justin Fields should be licking their chops !

  4. Guys,  if you would have told me before the start of the season and after losing our ENTIRE backfield, we would be 6-2 and 2nd seed

in the AFC, I would have said your are nuts.    The record is probably a manifestation of good fortune, decent breaks and favorable schedule,

but somehow this staff has duct taped the team together and pulled off a decent start ( with ca. 20 guys on the DL).

Lamar has been the Dude and, in spite of his many imperfections, had lead the troops to a more than respectable record.

Like every NFL team and the cant miss SB bound teams - see Dallas and Buffalo - this team has its share of weak links and flaws.

Hey, we may go on a big L streak and run out of gas by the end of the season.  But I think this team is a work in progress and

will evolve like every other NFL roster.  Maybe, just maybe, this team will hang in there, Lamar will have fun and we make the playoffs again.

Who knows, but I'm hopping on the crazy bandwagon and seeing where Lamar can take this duct taped, flawed team !

“Coming off their bye, the Ravens now are given an 81.1% chance of reaching the playoffs and a 47.6% chance to win the AFC North, per ESPN’s Football Power Index.

Projections to win the AFC North

    Ravens 47.6%
    Bengals 27%
    Steelers 14.4%
    Browns 11.1%”

Those (projections) and a buck will get you a cup of joe.  FWIW -Whoever gets the hot hand around Christmas wins the division.  Until then, its who shows up in our "weak to weak" league.

  6. After last weekends beatdown of LA, Post birdie messup of epic proportion.

We brought zilch of everything- energy, effort and execution - and 0 respect for the opponent that was hungry and ready to take us out behind the woodshed.  Taking out behind the woodshed by Cincy in our house - let that sink in for awhile.

Hope the team tastes this one for LONG time.

The loss of JK and Gus is really showing up.

  7. Yep,  toughest opponent we’ve faced thus far.  And with a banged up OL that doesn’t bode well for the offense and the running game.

The D will need to shut down Burrow and Co, and Lamar will need another A game to pull this one out.

Lamar, bring  your A game 👍

We will win but it won't be easy or pretty. The Bengals D scares me more than Burrows at this point.

Cincy is a dangerous, hungry opponent with many weapons.

I expect an extremely competitive game with the outcome decided in the 4th quarter, maybe last drive.

    My two cents ....

  9. Cincy will be a tough battle, almost another tossup.  With all the media falling in love with us and Buffalo for the AFCs best,

this game has the makings of trap.  Presumably, Harbs nips that in the bud.
