Why not Gus? He is the kind of runner that works for the system and he is dirt cheep. A speedy backup late in the draft would be smart though. A Sproals like guy.

It is relevant. He could not get the team going in the right direction. If Joe had not gotten hurt he would not have changed QBs. Then they would not have gotten into the playoffs.

But it can't be taught. Joe never learned it. There are so many QBs who haven't got better at that. It is a natural gift.

But Omar was not stereotypical. HE was a bad ass who seized what he wanted from others. Lamar was seizing production and wins from other teams.

HE convinced Lamar to stop making dangerous moves.

Exactly what I said was coming. I think it is timeto let Marshall go. They need to make a big effort at getting the OL up to snuff. Then they had tells. That kind of offense might lead to the OL needing to give a little to get to spots.

This was to be expected with such a one dimensional offense. They took the run away and made Lamar throw. He can't do that well so the offense was nil. That goes to my predictions about Lamar from before the draft. I don't think he mechanics are good and I don't expect them to get much better. Harbs will never let that happen.

When he was 4-5 he earned coming back? BTW he said weeks ago he didn't want an extension. How many of his assistants are willing to bet on his ability to continue to grow this. I would expect as many as possible to look for job security.

I don't think Wink would turn down an offer. I think he will interview if he is asked for. That is how the process works. It drives up market value and gets you paid more. A short sample set does nothing for me on Harbs. There is to much of a long term sample set of mediocre work.

He was a solid pick. He may well be a major steal.
