Not true. Stanley before that deal was inked showed he was prone to knick nack injuries. in the 4 yrs before inking his deal he missed 4, 1, 1, and 2 games. At his peak health and youth he showed he could not be relied upon to give a seasons worth of games. To me that says do not pay the man. No. Stay away from vet backs unless they are below market deals. Its to easy to find good play from the rookies.

Thats the way I see it. If you have to hollow out the roster for a guy then you have to move on.

If they tag him they need to create probably 17 mil more to get him locked in and have the space to get others signed. That is to much.

It looks like they are about 12 mil under. To tag Justin they have to make some moves. Those are to painful now to make.

The contract is to big to carry but also to much dead money to carry as well.
