  1. OK then what were you trying to say.
  2. I don't understand that first sentence.
  3. McCluster is a better player. I think JJ could have pulled at least $16 mil over the same time.
  4. He is going back to his old coach so I think it will not be so bad. I am sure guys will be suspicious for a while but the coach sets the stage on the team.
  5. But most fans love running after the names.
  6. I don't believe that for a minute.
  7. When I was younger I was one of those people. I believed in signing FA like mad then.
  8. And when has huge FA moves worked for a team? Maybe they should ask Lil Danny how that works.
  9. Yeah Smith is aging but he always plays harder than 95% of the league. For a yr or two he would be a good get. I just look at it as a player tends to stay what they are all through their career. Being a contract yr he could revert back to what he normally is.
  10. They can't afford him.
  11. Financially it is a really good deal. I think he left money on the table. I think his value is higher around the league.
  12. The last time they brought a younger brother in it did not go well. I would advise against it.
  13. Actually waiting for the idiots to finish the feeding frenzy is a good thing. It gets you much better deals later.
  14. I don't believe at being classy.
  15. I am not a fan of the Ravens. Many around here were echoing the same things I was saying about Monroe.
  16. You are quite right also. I could not find that quote though.
  17. I have a memory that lasts more than a day. I also see with clear eyes the landscape. You got quoted and are embarassed by it.
  18. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/11/49ers-acquire-jonathan-martin-in-trade-with-dolphins/ This could be a really smart move for the 49ers. It all depends on what the pick is.

  20. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/07/report-gap-remains-between-ravens-and-eugene-monroe/ I find it funny how something from just 5 days ago can be forgotten because of a few post netotiation spin comments. The Ravens are paying him less than they were budgeting for. Monroe is making $2.5 mil less than he was seaking. papasmurfbell, on 26 Feb 2014 - 11:02 AM, said: Money, on 26 Feb 2014 - 11:43 AM, said: You really had the pulse of the situation here too.
  21. Actually I think he was better last yr as a WR than at anytime in his career. He was catching a good number of balls for the last half of the season.

  23. JJ has been good at WR for half a season. Smith has been an PB WR and arguably top 5 guy at his postion for a period. JJ has been good at WR for a short period of time.
  24. So if he is killing it on the field how many weeks before you say all is good?
