I thought Lamar was really good last night in bad conditions. Even better considering three or 4 bad drops. 24/34 249 yards 2 TDs 1 INT 55 yards rushing. Yeah, he was the problem last night........

Lamar is the least of any problems here. How about people do more for Lamar.” La Canfora noted that Jackson has dropped back 41 times on play-action plays through eight games. To put that in perspective, Dak Prescott had 40 such dropbacks in five games prior to injury. La Canfora also points out that Kyler Murray and Josh Allen both have had 70+ play-action dropbacks this year. It’s not a surprise that these three guys all enjoyed a lot of success this year thanks to playcalling surrounding their strengths. Perhaps Roman needs to take some notes. Its a good listen:

The reports of the Raven's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Lamar's too. The team is not the best in the league but it's good. Lamar has not been great, but overall he's been good. But I'm just being objective, I don't have a narrative I'm pushing or concerned about some prediction I made years ago. Nor am I a bigot. Pedigree, between the ears, swapping brains with a white qb. It was dog whistle central here for a few weeks. It was like the garbage analysts and broadcasters would say in the 70s and 80s, everyone knew what they meant.

What a 2nd half. Great play calling and execution. Love the tempo. Would have been nice to have a better 1st half but still this is a really good win.

The last time I've seen the nation this happy is when same sex marriage was allowed. According to people on the streets, this is so much more joy. Its been and will be a rough year. Take joy wherever you can.
