  1. Vmax thinks Taylor will surpass as Gino as starter. Vmax does not realize Taylor and Rex are in Buffalo and Gino is still with the Jets.
  2. Whoever said Tyrod Taylor will be Buffalo's starting QB? Besides, no matter the starting QB, Buffalo's calling card will be it's #4 2014 total defense. With Rex now on board, they should finish about 9 - 7 in 2015.
  3. You need to re - read your links. The article clearly states that Buff hired Rex because of his winning philosophy. No one but no one gets paid millions for their winning personality. Of course I skipped the part where you said he never won a championship or had a record slightly under .500. Those are the dumbest statements I've ever read. 95$ of NFL coaches don't have champion on their resume, they just don't hand out championship rings you know. And getting a talentless Jets team anywhere near .500 is a major major achievement. To say otherwise is spewing hate. Bart Scott was great in Baltimore playing next to Ray Lewis but not so great playing next to ( ? ) with the Jets. That's not unusual. And once again it should be pointed out that Rex did not sign or draft the talent on that Jets team. Rex may have wanted a franchise QB, Jets' bad management came up with Sanchez - Rex had to stand behind him. Stop the hate.
  4. So, you admit Jets' management acquired Sanchez, Gino, and Tebow. And that Rex Ryan was absolutely correct in backing his starting QB no matter who he was. And now you have to admit Buffalo hired Rex Ryan because of his winning philosophy. Where's the beef? What is this thing you've got against ex ravens? Did Ed Reed, Bart Scott, or Rex Ryan ever do anything bad to you?
  5. Rex may have expressed his positional needs to his bosses but he certainly did not make the picks or sign the picks. Again, he was HC and not the GM.
  6. Again, what did you expect from Rex? Did you really think the HC would call his starting QB a bad pick?
  7. What did you expect Rex to say? Did you expect Rex to say he's not excited about his first string QB?
  8. So, you're saying that the Jets defense was on par with the Ravens and Bart Scott's numbers should have transferred over? Explain.
  9. The link says they hired Rex for his winning philosophy. Re-read your links before you post.
  10. Rex wanted Sanchez, Gino, and Tebow? Rex signed Ed Reed? Where're your links for this? Again, Rex never signed or drafted anyone, he was the HC and not the GM.
  11. Defense left us with a decent record. Defense has and will always be the Ravens calling card.
  12. You need to do better research. Rex called the shots to Jets management.... you need to do better research. Jets management better than Buffalo's ......you need to do better research. With the Jets, Rex spent his time making lemonade out of lemons. With the Bills he has the talent to do some real damage in the league. 2015 will bear this out.
  13. OOOoooooh! Me like!
  14. So you admit Taylor beat out the competition to be the Ravens #2 QB? Then what's your beef? And as for Rex, it should be pointed out to you that Rex was the Jet's HC and not the GM. Acquiring talent was not his job. Rex is in Buffalo now with better management and better talent. Under Rex's guidance, look forward to Buffalo making some noise in 2015 and beyond.
  15. Why so hard on Tyrod Taylor? He was a backup QB who consistently beat back his competition for backup QB during his tenure here. What's the big whoop? When you get a load of this current edition of Matt Shaub, you'll wish you had Tyrod Taylor back. And if you think Brian Billick will ever coach in the NFL again, you're deluding yourself. T'aint happenin'.
  16. For the truckload of $$$$ that will be coming my way. And for shutting up the bubbleheads who deny you're the best in the business. Again, thank you Floyd.
  17. Did you watch Shaub in his last year in Texas? And just who did he lose his job to in Oakland? And why?
  18. Goldman would be nice, but I don't think he'll be around at #26. However, I'm willing to bet the farm that Ozzie will pull the string on a DE that can be converted to LB/DE to replace Pernell McPhee and eventually Suggs when he retires.
  19. Steve Bisciotti said draft priorities will be pass rusher, cornerback, and pass catcher, in that order. If Bisciotti is being honest and transparent about the draft, it looks like Ozzie will be going Defense again this year.
  20. No he's shot and you're still slooooooow upstairs..... right todd?
  21. He might know the system but he's still a shot QB and you don't give 2 mill to a shot QB.
  22. Keeping in mind Ozzie's successful penchant for drafting defense first and foremost, a Goldman pick might not be too far off. Also keep in Oregon's DE Erik Armstead - this guy is 6'7" 298 pounds and could slide into Pernell McPhee's important spot as DE/LB/DT. Don't understand all this talk about WR's. Drafting a WR at #26 would be foolish and very unOzzielike.
  23. What should be a real concern, Gregory showed up for the combine at 218 pounds - down from his playing weight of 235 pounds. Don't know what that indicates but it can't be good.
  24. And yes you are being overly sensitive and snarky to boot. Again, I thought you knew what you were talking about and again I was wrong.
