The offense can't play any worse...can they?

    Week 7

Only way Jags could win was if the Ravens turned it over and gift handed the game to them. well...Jacksonvilles game plan is working to perfection.

Offfensive line sucks..they're sleepwalking...not matching the intensity....therefore the O sucks....Ravens won't go far if this offense doesn't improve. Special Teams hasn't helped matters either. The Jags have a good D ....crowd is in the game.

    Week 7

Ravens owned Monday Night Countdown! the Ray Lewis Show...
  5. This is a classic example of the fans knowing more about a player than the coaches and an organization....the media too. You've seen every game Palmers played and know where he's at. These media experts see him once or twice a year and then write how this is a 'win win' situation for both organizations. Maybe he's worth at best a 4th or 5th round pick. OK, the Raiders were desperate...maybe a 3rd or 2 as a final offer. That won't destrory a teams future for a 'hope this guy can play close to what he used to be". But the Cincy fans know better. What is wrong is that the experts and talent evaluators in Oakland should know better. This is their living and careers at the highest level of football. They should know what the fans know. He actually had a worse QB rating than Boller...17.3. The flawed logic here is that the Raiders were in the hunt for the division title and had to do everything to win now. Like it's now or never. So they choose a guy who's best days are behind him, ignoring the fact that it's week 7 of the season and Palmers has had no OTA's with the team, no training camp and just a few practices to get it together as a QB to execute their offense. No friggn'n way he can save this season for the Raiders. Therefore don't give up your #1 pick and a #2. They'll need them more than Palmer.
  6. That was very nice. Good work!
  7. That is an Indigenous Persons fan text message that scrolled across the screen of that great Sunday comedy show, Redskins Post Game Live. Looks like Redskin fans are in the recovery process. The first step is to get honest. Way to go.
  8. And the big news in Jacksonville.... A thank you note was sent to Ravens fans for buying the tickets.
  9. It captures it all... Crushing Pittsburgh at home will do this to fans. lol at the lone Steeler fan! BTW...they were hardly visible at all that day and downright silent. That was such a fun game to be at. Love the Ravens and love Ravens fans. This reminds me of the Ravens September 2000 win over the Jags 39-36. The Ravens had never beaten the Jags. McAlister and Starks had not "come in to their own" yet and were getting tourched by another Jimmy Smith for 291 yards!. The Ravens needed a 17 point 4th quarter for a' come from behind' win punctuated with Sharpes TD catch. The Ravens had shut out the Steelers the week before and were now 2-0 and the fans went wild. As fans we didn't know what a .500 season looked like and were hoping to hit that or 9-7 and begin to turn the corner. Never saw a Super Bowl comming. Anyway...it was the first time this Ravens fan saw Ravens fans as fired up and wild as the fans at Memorial stadium were for the Baltimore Colts. There were loud Ravens cheers as the stadium emptied out. A improve, Pigtown, small band on Russell street was playing "as the Saints...go marching in!"... south Baltimore style and the Ravens fans sang along and danced in the street blocking traffic. My brother and I remarked "Baltimore football is now officially back"...as we blocked traffic dancing in the street. Kind of feeling something special developing this season too... To go all the way, a teams has to beat teams they have struggled in the past. Beat teams over .500. Beat playoff teams. Win on the road and get better as the season progresses. Find themselves. It's been great fun watching this 2011 Ravens team tackle that task so far.
  10. I'm sure they'll bring him back gradually. Yea...huge props to Webb and Williams. With all the injuries and turnover it's hard to believe the Ravens have the #4 passing defense...#2 as far as TD's scored through the air. But it's true. If Smith can stay healthy and get a lot of game experience, then this will be one tight group and team strength come playoff time.

    Joe hits 40

    Here's another fact...
  12. Joe keeps hitting milestones.
  13. I'm not worried about this game at all. Jaguars: 27th ranked offense. 31st in points scored...31st. 12 points a game average! 32nd passing. If the offense doesn't turn it over, then the only thing I'm worried about is not getting the shut out.
  14. It gets worse Dee.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EtM0nefKoiU&feature=player_embedded#t=0s
  15. Thanks OTR! What a slimey weasel Skip Dickless is.

    Big Mouth Rex

The guy just keeps embarrassing himself and the Yets organization... It's hard to believe he said that untill you realize it's Rex Ryan.
  18. Harbaughs probably hold that package back for Nov. 6th...that stadium will start to empty out in the 3rd quarter.
  19. Could get ugly... It gets worse... "Find anything good on the Jaguars?" Just this...."
  20. Because the Ravens are winning, I'll look at this as a blessing in disguise due to the fact that Torry Smith is getting valuable playing time and experience. Getting Evans back would be huge. That would be one more solid playmaker on the field...line him, Bouldin and Smith up in a 3 wide and that would bother most defenses...and beat most.
  21. Obvious answer... We really dodged a bullit there. "Well...maybe I'm not too good with this handshake thing myself."
  22. Total steal for the Bengals. I really think Palmers washed up. we'll see.
  23. The only stats that matter.
