  1. AP is still a beast. We need to play the Vikes like its a another Steeler game. Nothing less .

    :gorave:

Agree, a loss this week to the Vikes with Detroit, New England, and Cinci left to play would be horrific. All the glee and hope we are feeling from beating Pitt would be gone in an instant. This game cannot be overlooked.

  2. As long as you guys have Ben as a leader you'll be a force.

He was on fire in the 4th quarter. He was picking our D apart with clutch throws. His accuracy was dead on, he was finding every open guy and hitting him. We are fortunate that Sanders is a bum and dropped that 2 pt conversion.

  3. Also the online is keeping Ben clean now

If I'm not mistake he was only put on the turf ONE time last night and it wasn't a sack just a hit. Ravens first time in 22 games without recording a sack

  4. False *Dwight Shrute Voice*

    Brandon. Stokeley.

But seriously I looked through the full draft history of the Ravens since inception at their WR selection... BARF!! Yamon Figur, Derrick Abney, Ron johnson.. The list goes on.

  5. Getting Amped for this game. My friend from Florida arrives tonight, ditched his whole family to come up here and tailgate / go to game with old buddies. Last year he drove 17 hours straight to come up for the Ravens/Colt playoff game to see Ray-Ray one more time. Gonna be a great night

Nobody in the AFC North. This division stinks...then again, it looks like only a small few teams in the NFL want to win.

To me there is no clear cut dominate team in the NFL this year. The chiefs are having a great season but have yet to play real competition.. Peytons injuries starting to pile up will not feel better when the temp drops.. The patriots dont have the playmakers or chemistry this year. The colts just got destroyed at home by the rams. I guess you could make a case for the seahawks and even the saints but no one is really making a case to be considered a shoe-in for the superbowl.

  7. BTW...I don't like saying this because I love watching Ray Rice and what a great person that he is, but, Ray Rice is done. The NFL mileage has caught up with him. He will never be the same.

He'll be gone after this season. He's lost power, speed and moves....it don't come back.

agreed. At first I wanted to attribute his lackluster performance to the offensive line and play calling, and partially it is that. But also when you watch him run and cut he is just not the same. Last year and previous he would make people look silly trying to tackle him one on one and this year he can't escape anyone. I cant recall a run over 20 yards all season for him. Even his blocking has been sub-par this season.

Another thing I've noticed, especially in the last two games is that our offensive line cannot pick up blitz to save our life. Every third down the formula to beat us is to blitz and we have no answer. The D-ends rush downfield and force flacco step up right into a blitzing linebacker. Clockwork.

  8. Say what u want about billicks play calling but he would use a flea flicker or double reverse or HB pass at least once a game. Some times it worked, most of the time it didnt, but it gave defenses something else to game plan for. In the case of running a reverse with mark clayton it never worked but still it was interesting. I can think of a few points in every game this year where i think to myself, "damn a flea flicker bomb to smith would be so easy right now".

  9. I didn't like the onside kick but I don't think it cost us the game. My beef was that if you're going to try something like that you better be damn sure your players can do something simple like stay onside - I hope that guy got an earful in film session today. The call certainly wasn't on par with the blunders against GB.

Harbs also is not getting any credit for going for it on 4th and 1...didn't that QB sneak lead to a TD?

No they took a field goal after they converted the fourth and one. Rendering the entire decision to go for it on fourth pointless because it was a chip shot either way.
