Here's my wild ass guess. We surprise everyone and take
Odell Beckham WR, LSU
-
Ideal scenario is to trade back with the 49ers and get their 2nd round pick #56 overall to go with 1st round pick #30 overall. With that 1st pick I would take Jimmie Ward, FS, Northern Illinois.
We can then target Best Need Available from OL/WR/TE/RB with our 4 picks in the 2nd and 3rd rounds and draft BPA for depth the rest of the way after that.
OR
Picking at 17 I hope 1 of Taylor Lewan or Zack Martin falls to our pick.
I like the Ward move, very possible.
-
They will work it out. I'm crazy curious but there's no telling. Ozzie basically screamed to the hills that 17 is trade bait. So maybe he's doing a temp check to see what we can get if none of his top guys for pick 17 aren't around. I say that's smart. And I didn't want to trade down but you have to prep.
-
the cards are seeming to fall against us right? But this draft is rich, I can't wait myself! If we move back, I just want good value and still a great great first pick. Ed Reed wasn't top 20. So this may be the draft to find that type of star late in the first. Maybe not an Ed Reed, that's once in a gen great, but an impact guy.I haven't been an advocate of trading down in this year's draft because I was thinking we could get a stud player ready to play now with the 17th choice. But now I'm hearing the top 4 tackles will be gone, Clinton-Dix will be gone, Evans and Watkins will be gone. If it really plays out like that I could see us moving back in the first round. I hope it doesn't happen that way. Lately Oz hasn't been doing well after falling back.
I don't think Pryor is the safety we need. Ward is.
But hell yeah, Max. I'm counting down the days! I just want to have a first round pick who's a starter no matter where we draft in that round.
-
Really, you can miss anywhere and hit somewhere crazy. What round was L. Webb? 5th? It's about never reaching and having a great board, mostly that the board has the talent pegged right.
-
It seems that trade is in the air. I thought it might be harder to do but moving down to pick up an extra 2nd rd pick is attractive. I just want us to get a legit first rounder.
-
All this just shows how hard it is to find a franchise QB and win a SB with them. There's been. 47 SBs and less than 35 Super Bowl winning QBs. And some of those aren't really franchise QBs. It's hard. We have done alright here in Bmore
-
I always thought he would. Big arm like we like. He was too slow and a long wind up but may have done ok here. Not great but ok. Glad we didn't get him because we never get Suggs or Joe if we had gotten himActually I wonder if had he been here and not in Jax that Byron might have panned out. But again Billick would have had his time to destroy him.

Now you know Rasta! I love this show
-
That's the question Rasta. I like the idea but it could be a few folks. I love the show
-
T, I still think we walk away with Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
-
sounds good!Busngles 0 n 4 in Baltimore, we start the season on a high note then kick Pittzburghs ass.
-
3 divisional games to start the season. It's almost sink or swim early. We need to gel quickly. But a favorable schedule over all. NFL trying to make up for last yr and it really was on the MLB and O's.
-
I think he's done until his football money runs out. By then he won't be able to buy his way into the league. He wasted an opportunity here. But if he gets his degree, maybe he can find something in life he wants to do. Not insulting him about the money , that's par for the course with guys who fail to adapt to professional sports life
-
I've been saying that, everyone wants to trade back and stock picks this yr. so that makes it harder.
I don't like Preston much and prefers that he stay out of the Ravens war room. Ozzie has got this. But if the right trade back is there, he could take it and still get a quality player in the late 1st
-
Well, no sweat off our back.
Ozzie called his bluff. He said he wanted to play. Ozzie basically said put up or shut up and go home.
Didn't hurt us any tho and the only embarrassment was for Cody who backed him so hard and talked him up. You do have to follow your heart, that's true but it wasn't a smart move to kill any chance of a career. He should've stayed away another yr. His loss and he lost weakly. SMH

Happy Easter School. It's going to work out.
-
School, I hear you but where's the pain in giving it a shot? We're talking about trouble he go into last yr. so he took the yr off. Guess what? No trouble. So he's not in football shape. Let's get him in football shape. If there's something there to help us win games, we'll find it. If he has nothing, then he's cut. If he gets into trouble, he's cut. It's about winning games and getting guys who help you do it. He's had issues but if he's a good player and has put his issues behind him, I want him. I don't want him to be another Burfict. We didn't take that shot on him and here he is knocking the snot out of Ray Rice. He could've been a Raven. And he's not having off field issues as was thought he would. Give it a shot and see what's there with R McClain.
-
It's not hurting our Ravens to give this a shot. It's all win if it works out and minimal loss if we have to cut him. And at 24, there's some guys coming out this yr that are only a yr younger. Let's get him in shape, around a positive winning organization and see what he has.
-
I like what we have and I think Chykie might be ready.
-
But it's looking bleak
-
-
Well he has work to do to get a real shot. Is he going to quit now? If he comes back for another shot then it says something good about
-
It also means we win one more than not. Took the hard way to a Super Bowl thru a Wildcard. Hate is a disease oldcrow and you're terminal. Congratulate and move on.
Just for Fun

Another wild ass guess: ravens trade the 17th pick to the 9ers for their 30th pick and 58th pick.
Ravens select Moses OT, Virginia
