It looks as if Haley in staying as well and I like that a lot. If you remember the cards super bowl run their offense wasnt great to start the season then about the half way point took off just like ours did this year only difference is they got into the play offs.
OK I blast Flacco every chance I get but ints aren't always the QBs fault. Also as said before Manning, Ben, Favreau, and many other very good to great QBs have thrown more then 22 picks in a season it happens.
I'm thinking a big tall WR or Nix from ND. I'm not sure on corners in this year's draft. They went defense last year so it will be offense this year. I can't remember the last time they took the same side of the ball in the first in back to back year.
The plan was to use it all last season until Pouncey went down. The only one I would question would be foster but the other ones are smaller quicker lineman. It worked for 9 weeks why not 16? I actually think Haley saved his job and I have done a complete 180 on him. Werner said that the cards offense didn't take off until he fully bought into Haleys system which I think Ben finally did. Come on man 7 sacks in the last 7 games is huge for this oline.
How in the world is this game about to be blacked out that ridiculous. Yeah the steelers attendance was down this year but I promise you it would be standing room only for a playoff game.
OK so instead of starting a bunch of threads I'm just going to start an ongoing thread. Crave the steelers oline really started to gel down the stretch and after a brutal start Ben finished 7th in times sacked which is the lowest he has been in awhile. DeCastro is looking like the guy we thought we picked and Beachum was extremely solid at LT.
The steelers aren't really in that bad of a position. They aren't losing much on offense and will be in the no huddle all next year btw since they went to the no huddle they were 4th in the league in scoring.
Nah I give him at least 4 more years with this offense and the oline improvement. David Decastro is Turing into the guard we thought he was going to be and while undersized Beachum did a great job at LT due to his brain and work ethic. When the steelers get rolling in the no huddle it's hard to bring a ton of pressure because Ben is just going to change the play and with the emergence of Bell I think he will be alright.
The steelers played great football down the stretch once valesco could make the adjustments in the no huddle. Haley planned to use it all year long but when Pouncey went down so did it. The steelers were third in scoring in the second half and finished the season going 8-4. Theres a lot to grow on and they aren't losing much on offense.
