I lived in west palm which is considered a dolphins and marlins market. The year I lived there the Marlins won the world series and talking to people about they acted like they had never even heard of the Marlins. Sundays you would see Steelers jersey everywhere you looked but rarely seen anything dolphins. Now when Miami played Florida it was like a frickin mad house everywhere you went same with any of the Florida teams playing each other. They support the hell out of their college teams they just don't seem to care about pro sports. The heat weren't good when I was there so I have no clue what kind of support they get down there.

I don't thunk Ben is playing all that bad. His biggest pro lem right now is he is trying to force to many plays that aren't there. He's in desperation made right now. He has had some plays that make you say wtf were you thinking there but stat wise he is having a decent year. His qbr is a lot lower then normal at 84. I'm hoping they get this straightened out with the bye week but I don't know if it can be straighten out though. The offense is playing well enough to win the defense just can't stop anyone or cause a turnover

Obviously you didn't read my earlier post stating Joe is a good qb and a lot of teams in the league would take him in a second but he is not worth 120 million dollars. I'm sorry to get paid that your completion percentage needs to be over 60 and his never has been. To get paid that you shoupdnt rank 25th in completion percentage and 27th in qbr. Plain and simple if you want to beat the ravens remove the rush and put it all on joes shoulders.

Allen from the cowboys had one good game and it happened to be the super bowl. While he hasn't fallen off the earth Holmes even though Ben deserved that one.

No denying he had a great run in the playoffs but you don't pay that much for 1 run. The one thing Ben does have is a great wr in brown the rest so far are middle if the pack. Bell looked decent running behind the line but still no running threat. I would put Joe above Ryan and Romo but behind Ben. I just don't think he deserved the contract he got. We will see what happens with Ben and his extension next year. He has made his money first qb to make 70 million in one contract. I honestly think he is going to go the way of Brady and take less with more guaranteed. He doesn't want to leave the Steelers at all and he really has a team first mentality. I will same him and Joe have one great thing in common when they lose they blame themselves and most qbs would be flipping out about the oline in front of both of them. I'm not saying flacco is a bad qb I'm saying he isn't a 120 milliondollar qb. Most teams in the league would take him as there starter in a second. I have no problem giving credit where credit is due I also have no problem saying what problems people have and Flaccos completion percentage has always been low I have never really paid attention to his qbr so i don't really know but I'm thinking its never been top 15 I could be way off though.

So you are saying Flacco is way overpaid because Ben is having a better year then him and dont try and compare lines the steelers easily have the worst in the league. The team is 0-4 but Ben has been playing well. The defense is letting up like 35 points a game and getting him zero turnovers no qb in the history of the league would be successful under those circumstances.

1968 is the last time the Steelers started 0-4. The funniest part is you can't even consider them out of the division race. I know they are done but with 2 against yinz and the browns and 1 against the Bengals it's possible.

Yeah and Ben puts up the numbers to support him getting that contract. He is a little off this year but still is no lower then 15th in any category. He is 5th in yards. Wait two or three seasons when flaccos cap hit sky rockets and see where the ravens are. Bens contract was 18 million less then Flaccos. The fact is ray rice drives the ravens offense not flacco. They are putting more on him this year but aren't getting the results.

Ben isn't the problem the line gives him no time at all and the defense is horrible not just bad but horrible. I don't know many qbs who could win with this defense. I'm just saying yinz are paying a middle of the pack qb top dollar. I also love how wins are all that matter now but over on the other board all of yinz said wins are a team thing not a qb thing. Crave that was your biggest thing when bashing Ben at least Ben had good numbers to go with the wins. 27TH IN QBR 27TH DO YOU REALIZE HOW HORRIBLE THAT IS. You are paying a guy that much money to be 5 spots from the bottom in qbr and 7 from the bottom in completion percentage I don't see how yinz can just be fine with that.

At least Ben doesn't have a 120 million dollar contract with a 69 QBR. 27TH in the league to go with his 25th in the league completion percentage. More picks then tds and so on

I don't know that's frustrates the hell out of me. Yeah he isn't the best run blocker in the world but damn Adams can't run or pass block. Adams is a pure RT and did well there last year. Starks was solid in pass blocking I think he gave up like 4 sacks last year hell that's a good game for Adams if he only lets up 4. Steelers fans rip into Gilbert and while he isn't great he has had a solid pass blocking year horrible in run. I think they need to flip Adams and Gilbert hell it can't be any worse.

Yeah I read that. He is clearly frustrated as this is whole new territory for him. I really hope they blow this team up.
