vmax
Some good news...This train keeps rolling... - Left tackle Bryant McKininie looks much better than he did his first day on the field. He’s more active and effective in drills, and he made it through nearly all of practice on a very hot afternoon. He’s headed in the right direction.- Wide receiver Jacoby Jones had the catch of the day with a fully-outstretched grab across the middle of the field. Jones cut in front of cornerback Jimmy Smith and then hauled in an impressive diving grab to bring out big cheers from the fans.Tandon Doss loves to show off his hands during individual drills. He routinely makes highlight-reel one-handed catches during warmups, and he has the potential to bring those skills into the games- Even though Lardarius Webb is still working his way back, he appears to have a quick step in coverage. He’s able to run step-for-step with any receiver he’s matched up against during drills.- These padded practices definitely aren’t easy. While some teams have steered away from the hard-nosed nature of training camp, Harbaugh continues to run a tough practice. The hitting is full-go, and the players are clearly fighting for roster spots and starting jobs on every play.http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/728-Training-Camp-Practice-Highlights/0be0089e-da7d-4c23-b91e-9f4681ed7ac5 The hands belong to Furstenberg... - The offensive line vacancies created another alignment on the first string. From left to right, it was Bryant McKinnie, Jah Reid, Gino Gradkowski, Antoine McClain and Michael Oher.- Flacco deftly ran around right end on a two-point conversion play and made his way into the end zone. Yet, the coaches did not credit him with it, saying he had gotten tackled. Flacco ran into the middle of the field and screamed: "You didn't give me that? He only got me by my ankle!" as the defense jeered him from the opposite bench.- Even though cornerback Asa Jackson is five inches shorter than wideout Rashaad Carter, he tipped away an end-zone fade intended for Carter. Also on the reserve field, tackle Jack Cornell's block pushed back linebacker Bryan Hall; running back Bobby Rainey also made a nice cutback behind a Cornell block.http://www.pressboxonline.com/blog/6181/Season-Ending-Injuries-Quite-Similar-But-Different
cravnravn
more A heavyweight fight unfolded between center Gino Gradkowski and nose tackle Terrence Cody as tempers flared Saturday during the Ravens' first day in full pads. There were two rounds to this training camp brawl. Cody and Gradkowski locked up after one play with Cody taking a big swing at the second-year offensive lineman. After run-game coordinator Juan Castillo separated the combatants and Gradkowski was walkingaway, Cody slapped his helmet off.One play later, they went at it again. Cody shoved his hand underneath Gradkowski's facemask and wouldn't let go.Read more: http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/ravens-insider/bal-heavyweight-brawl-breaks-out-between-cody-gradkowski-20130727,0,5537885.story#ixzz2aQxbFM9D
Oldschool739
Cody should be learning how to do his job better and get off of blocks instead of fighting with his own teammates. He's gonna be a backup this yr anyway, pretty sure....He's another fat lazy backup, that's all.. World Champs.....REPEAT !!!!
