Oldschool739 Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 You see, this is what happens 90% of the time to NFL QB's , that think they are RB's whenever they feel like it.I'll take the pocket passer myself...I like good things to last a while !!!! "The team announced that Cam Newton would have ankle surgery tomorrow in Charlotte, and will need four months of recovery time". http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/03/18/cam-newton-needs-ankle-surgery-four-month-recovery/ Quote

Oldschool739 Posted March 18, 2014 Author Posted March 18, 2014 Bad business. Panthers are in the top 5 of worst offseasons so far. They got a good D though....lolThey must be looking to the draft for a WR, because they passed on everyone available, and now even though they are saying Cam will recover in time for 2014 season, they don't know how he will respond , especially early on, because of the injury.....I cringe everytime Joe takes off running, they are not padded up enough or used to taking that kind of hit and injury is high percentage.....It's a different hit in the pocket, only 1 person is running and it ain't head on collisions....That's what turns me off on these running qb's most... ravinmaniac52 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Didn't they spend all their money on running backs? Quote
