vmax Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Cincinnati Bengals (3-2-1, second in North). They started 3-0, but we can't remember any of that after their prime-time flop in New England, disappointing home tie to Carolina and disappearing act in Indianapolis. Good teams don't lose 27-0. That's Jets and Giants territory, and should remind some Bengals fans of brown-paper bag masks. This defense isn't good, and when they're not running well and A.J. Green isn't healthy, it's hard for anyone to fear them offensively. The Ravens have jumped to the class of this division, and now Cincinnati needs to worry more about not finishing behind Pittsburgh and Cleveland. Verdict: PretenderCleveland Browns (3-3, third in North) Remember how Brian Hoyer was playing so well, how they were protecting the ball and how they were running it? Or when we said, they're going to keep rolling with that schedule. They just reminded us they are still very Browns-like by laying that egg at now no-longer winless Jacksonville. It was disturbing that in a game they should have won, that they were instead dominated. Verdict: Pretender http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/contender-or-pretender-how-good-is-your-mediocre-nfl-team/ar-BBacLXd?ocid=iehp Quote
