TBird Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I hope they can bring Lawrence Guy back. Check out his grades fromFilm Study. http://russellstreetreport.com/2015/02/13/filmstudy/2014-final-grades-defensive-line/
vmax Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 He's ok as a back up and for giving players a rest. He did a good job this year filling in.Nothing wrong with his toughness and grit. On running plays he does get pushed back at times. Teams will run at him on 3rd and short. Maybe it's his leverage and technique....maybe size and strength. Maybe they don't want to run at Ngata and Williams. But he is a fighter....love his attitude.
TBird Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 Great post. You're right of course but I thought the drift was heneeded more playing time to get better. He got better as hegot more playing time. He is primarily a backup, albeit a good one.
oldno82 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 He had a decent year and has potential for better when he can get more playing time. We ought to be able to sign him cheap...at least for another year.
rastaman831226 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 This guy Guy was on the practice squad in Indy, San Diego, and Green Bay. It's amazing how Ozzie fits them in here. Right player - right system.
