tsylvester Posted October 28, 2017 Posted October 28, 2017 Yes, he had a ped issue at Florida, but if they still had him, they would be a top 4 team. He is a smart, "heady" player. Strong arm, accurate, moves very well in and out of the pocket. He throws well on the run, from different angles as needed. With the season he is having his draft stock is rising. I think the Ravens would be wise to draft him if they can't get Mayfield. Where? Maybe in the 3rd, possibly in the 4th. With a year or two to learn I think he can be a very good NFL quarterback. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000867277/article/sources-tell-us-buzz-builds-for-west-virginias-will-grier
papasmurfbell Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 I can't find recent vid. He is interesting though.
RavenMad Posted October 29, 2017 Posted October 29, 2017 Watched him yesterday. I'm not sure. He had 4 INTs yesterday and could have had about 8. Takes too many risks when trying to make a play and I didn't see enough big plays to make me feel he'll be anything better than a career backup. That said, that's a 1 game sample. I'll try and see some more of him between now and the draft.
tsylvester Posted October 30, 2017 Author Posted October 30, 2017 Those 4 picks were an aborition, he is far better than he showed in that game. His receivers let him down as well, one quit on a route leading to one pick.. Time will tell..
