Watching a few mins of the NE/GB game this play jumped off teh screen at me. MArty has Lamar. He can run and he can throw. Him making the thorw to Collins who would have open field and lots of blockers would be hard to stop. His play calls with Jackson are so obvious and lack imagination.

 

On Grubbers point of Joe being lazy I wonder if he would try to block like Brady does here.

Brady didn't want to block, but then saw the play come back his way.

 

Flacco wouldn't block. Pre back injury Flacco would...

Disagree. He was waiting until the ball was thrown bc he didn't want to be an inelidgable blocker. He watched the ball thrown and started up field. After the first block he looked for another one much further down field.

Brady has had plenty of injuries and he still tries.

As much as loathe Brady, you can't deny his wiliness to compete. Joe has never exhibited that in all facets of the game.

Yep. The sooner the franchise QB the better. Give Lamar the damn car keys or whomever.

We need a QB gamer- someone who loves the game and wills his team to win.

Another Ray Lewis kind of guy behind center. Rare, if not nearly impossible gems, but findable.
