varaven45 Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 You are delusional, Crav, but I love your spirit, man ! Look, can you overnight me some of that purple kool aid down to Virginia in time for Sunday's game ? Quote
cravnravn Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Come on Va, thats HUGE news, the division can be ours, the #2 seed, the bye..And I donty know whether you watched the Bengals-Steelers game but Ben got popped time and time again, he even limped off when he got that broken foot rolled up on.. WE take care of New Orleans, and our run to Dallas just got a tad easier... Quote
dc. Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 First... losing to the Jets hardly matters unless they lose to the Browns too, right? Because even if we win out, they have one less division loss. Second... the Jets are dead in the water. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 You are correct dc, but if they lose to the Jets, they have a short week, maybe Carolina can catch them recouping? if not we need the Brows to beat them. Quote

Crav, You are really reaching for the planets to align here: If we beat NO, then win out.....If Steelers lose to Jets, Panthers and/or Browns. Anything is possible, 1969 Miracle Mets, Joe Namath led 69 Jets, ......... Rick Moranis' led Little Giants Keep drinking that purple wine Quote
cravnravn Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Joe Namath led 69 Jets That was a fixed game, Namath didnt lead squat. Quote

Bad example I only thought of that team because I was actually business partners with a CB on that 69 Jets team.Helluva nice guy but despised that team. Johnny U should have started thta SB instead of Morral ! Quote
cravnravn Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Oh yeah...I have quite a few "theory's" on how and why that game was fixed. Quote
varaven45 Posted December 17, 2010 Posted December 17, 2010 Oh yeah...I have quite a few "theory's" on how and why that game was fixed. I'm sure. That sounds like a future invitation for a brewski ! Maybe we can catch up on a future game when the temps are above 50 degrees. Quote
cravnravn Posted December 17, 2010 Author Posted December 17, 2010 Or training camp when its 95 & 95 humidity Quote
vmax Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 Last year, as soon as Tomlin said his team would 'Unleash Hell', they went into a nose dive for the rest of the year.Could happen this year too. Quote
Guest BallTMore Posted December 18, 2010 Posted December 18, 2010 The Steelers only need two field goals to beat the Jets. Sanchez will get benched, which means 75 year old Mark Brunell will take over at QB. So...yeah. Also, if by some Christmas miracle the Jets do win and the Ravens win, we would need to win out, while Pittsburgh drops another game to Carolina (haha) or Cleveland. We could also win the division even if we lost to the Saints. We would need to win out and the Steelers would have to lose to the Jets and Cleveland...and a bunch of other shit that will make your head explode. Basically, the Ravens blew it when they choked against the Steelers. Once again we're a wildcard team. No home game in the playoffs. Quote
