vmax Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 (edited) It's very hard to catch lightning in a bottle, much more so to catch it twice... Quote Which team has experienced the most disappointing season? Willie McGinest Writer | NFL.com + Follow On Twitter Rams suffered a major Super Bowl hangover No team had higher expectations than the reigning NFC champs. Sean McVay's squad returned all of its firepower from last season's Super Bowl squad and had every intention of returning to the big game. It looked good early on, when Los Angeles started 3-0, but then the wheels started to fall off. From Todd Gurley's limited use to Jared Goff's inconsistency to a major shuffle within the defense, L.A. struggled in many ways to recapture last year's dominance. In fact, the Rams not only failed to repeat their magical 2018 campaign, but they missed the playoffs entirely....http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001091641/article/nfls-most-disappointing-team-in-2019-browns-rams-chargers-flopped For Ravens fan,s let's enjoy the moment, what we have, because next year is not a given that things will go so well. papasmurfbell Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 Why is this surprising? The team that is the runner up to the title almost alwasy has a hangover. NE is about the only exception to that. Also it took a very long time for Gurley to get going again. That team rides and dies with him. Quote
