Jungletiger Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Perry’s days as a Bengal are numbered By Chick Ludwig | Tuesday, December 23, 2008, 10:57 AM BENSON’S PRODUCTION, BALL SECURITY BETTER THAN CHRIS PERRY’S PERRY LIKELY TO BECOME A SALARY-CAP CASUALTY Sunday’s NFL regular-season finale against the visiting Kansas City Chiefs could mark tailback Chris Perry’s final game in a Cincinnati Bengals’ uniform. After five turbulent seasons, the club appears ready to cut ties with its No. 1 draft pick from 2004. Chris PerryPerry’s contract runs through 2009, but his $1 million base salary next season doesn’t equal his production (104 carries, 269 yards, 2 TDs) from this year. Look for him to become a salary cap casualty. http://www.daytondailynews.com/o/content/s...gal_are_nu.html Quote

I remember losing my mind hearing his name called as the #1 draft pick. He had bust written all over him. Quote
Jungletiger Posted December 26, 2008 Author Posted December 26, 2008 Is he a bust or will he end up being a super star on another team? He gots skill... Quote
RavensNest8483 Posted December 26, 2008 Posted December 26, 2008 I'd be pumped to see ravens pick him up. He just needs to work on holding onto the ball, but can be a solid rb in this league. Quote
vmax Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 He's definitely a bust. When he lines up I think "Well, they won't have a running game today." Quote
BengalBilly Posted December 27, 2008 Posted December 27, 2008 He's definitely a bust. When he lines up I think "Well, they won't have a running game today." Listen to vmax. He recognizes a RB who simply cannot run between the tackles. Perry is garbage. Quote
RavensNest8483 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I think he has some potential, he will end up on a roster next yr. Quote
