Might have made more sense for the Jets to sign Lamar if they could get his demand for 'fully guaranteed' dropped. After all, how many seasons does Rodgers realistically have left? After 2 years, the Jets may be left with no Rodgers and a long, long rebuild to be done from scratch.

They clearly know he is worth what the Ravens offered and not much more. Will that change Friday or Saturday? Perhaps.

Jets are clearly thinking Super Bowl or bust this year, anything else and Bob's your uncle, they clean house in the front office.

I would not be surprised if they drafted a qb with their top 15 pick
