tsylvester
That didn't take long. Spring pro football will never take, maybe with gambling legal it has a shot, but very long odds..
papasmurfbell
USFL starts to late. While I commend the Rock with trying to give dudes a shot he has to stop with the NFL washouts. Start competing with the NCAA and go get 18 yr blue chippers.
tsylvester
You can do that with baseball & basketball, less injury, less serious injury risk sports. But football, nope, they get a free ride in college, get a degree I'd they want even if they suffer career ending injuries.
papasmurfbell
no they dont. They are exploited for money by the schools. Look at CU. Deion kicked 70+ guys off the roster. So explain why 17-24 yr olds can play football for the NCAA but 17-24 yr olds cant play football for a pro league? What exactly is the increased injury danger?
