Yes they are.  I think they have to give the kid one more yr.

They almost have no choice. They don't have a qb on the team better and I doubt, unless they go after Mac Jones in the off season, is he or anyone really better? 

This is his rookie year, they all struggle at first. But he barely played in college and when he did, he barely through any passes.

That’s the issue now.  These guys who barely play in college don’t get to show enough.  Look at the kid in Indy.
