papasmurfbell Posted August 1 Posted August 1 Micah wants out. Terry wants out. Trey wants out. Quote
tsylvester Posted August 3 Posted August 3 Just typical plays by the players to get their money. Like a certain Browns' player who "wanted out" until he got his money... Jerry is playing this smart. Had he signed Mincah last year, Parsons would still hold out to get more money this year after the other ends got paid more Quote
papasmurfbell Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 No. Jerry has played this very poorly. He waited on dak, cece, and Micah. Each will cost him at a min 10% more than if they had just inked them sooner. The team needs to be torn down. Having 3 guys eat up like 60% of your cap is not tenable. Quote
tsylvester Posted August 4 Posted August 4 I agree about the cap. But how many times have we seen a player get paid top dollar one year, then watch another player get more, only to have player A comeback a year later, 2 years later and want more? Maybe Jerry just wants to make sure his player is the highest at a position. I do agree, that team is soft, so much talent and even when healthy they cant win anything. Been that way for decades, since their last super bowl. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 Then the goal is not to win a ring. Just say that. I think Jerry has dementia. Quote
tsylvester Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Micah, why arent you practicing? Micah" my back is tight" Jerry, why haven't you signed Micah yet? Jerry:"Micah has a bad back" Quote
papasmurfbell Posted August 4 Author Posted August 4 The same guy thought his player missed 6 games instead of 4. He also called him Micheal. You also claim injury if you are holding in. Quote
tsylvester Posted August 4 Posted August 4 Yep, a head ache, sore neck, back, what ever gets you out of practice will holding in Quote
