tsylvester Posted January 31 Posted January 31 I guess the writing was on the wall, afterall, letting Darnold, who played at a level worthy of MVP talk for the Vikes last year, not only duplicates it and leads his new team to the Super Bowl! Letting him walk, drafting a very raw quarterback, and planned to have him start... Yep, good bye Quote
tsylvester Posted January 31 Author Posted January 31 Me neither, worse than Mark Sanchez as far as playing experience. Sure, they won, but not because of him, he barely threw a pass in college Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Exactly. Burrows is very much the exception. One yr of real carry the team qb play but before that he was jj. Quote
tsylvester Posted February 1 Author Posted February 1 At least Burrow won a Heisman because of his throwing. Maybe JJ will turn out, he had spirts, but I won't hold my breath Quote
papasmurfbell Posted February 1 Posted February 1 That he is heisman yr was his only season with production. The guys that fail the most have really limited sample sets in school. While burrow was in school a long time he was a jj type for most of it. Quote
tsylvester Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago He is one of the rare ones, but he did sit behind some very good College qbs at Ohio St, thus transferring to LSU Quote
