cravnravn Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 8:30 on game day, and nobody is up yet.. Was it not great to see the Colts stumble in San Diego? It was greta to hear the guys bitch that I went to Indy with..They wore my cell phone out. Our road to Tampa just got a little smoother..But man it has a familiar ring to it. 2000 Home Tennessee California Tampa 2008 Miami (winter home) Tennessee California Tampa Quote
vmax Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Not quite awake yet....I'm on my first cup of coffee. Good to see the Colts lose. I prefer to play the Chargers or Stealers. Like this great season...going to Tampa doesn't compute yet....just keep reminding me that's what the Ravens want to do. Quote
cravnravn Posted January 4, 2009 Author Posted January 4, 2009 This is what I learned from last nights games. 1. Rookie of the year should have went to "General" Joe 2. League MVP should have went to Ed Reed. Ryan and Manning showed that they are not worthy of those awards. Quote

The Ravens will put an end to that today. Quote
dc. Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Loved seeing the Colts lose. What I really loved more, though, was that they lost on 2 or 3 calls against their defense in the final minutes and on the final drive... with Manning over there watching. In my head I was saying, Dear Peyton and Tony, you guys are the reason those rules were added! You are the reason that holding was called against your CB. And now you're paying for it. PS - Peyton's go ahead TD was sch BULLSHIT! On the play prior, the Chargers were called for encroachment. But Peyton and the Colts were doing their usual pre-play bullshit, including Peyton jumping and stomping and moving his hands and faking the snap. THAT'S A FALSE START, LEAGUE REFS. You are only allowed to use your voice, not your body, to fake the count. So Peyton gets the off-side called in a bullshit manner... and then a player later, still amid the confusion, the Colts run a play while the Chargers aren't looking... which (if NBC had bothered to show a replay) might just show that the Colts hadn't even lined up properly! BCEagles Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I wouldn't say Ryan wasn't worthy of it. But then again, who am I? Quote
