BengalBilly Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Peyton comes back in brilliant fashion, and the Denver defense played solid. Ben should have been intercepted at least four other times in this game, but the Broncos pulled off the INT at the most critical time. Good job Denver!
thundercleetz Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 What an amazing performance by Manning! The guy's arm strength is definitely sapped but he is such a wizard at the line of scrimage he didn't even need to stretch the field. Manning put on an offensive clinic in the no huddle offense calling his own balance of run and pass plays. He completely dissected Pittsburgh's defense on every play and neutralized Polamalu. Troy was getting extremely frustrated because Manning identified him on every play and made him a nonfactor. Manning is really something else.
cravnravn Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Oh lord, we get the SOB here in December, hopefully he tweaks that neck.
thundercleetz Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 I also thought Pittsburgh's running game was very weak. Ben was pretty much in the shotgun the whole night. When they did run the ball it was out of the same under center, 11 bunch receiver personnel everytime. Very predictable. Todd Haley is a smart guy, he will make adjustments.
