vmax Posted October 24, 2012 Posted October 24, 2012 Other than having the best opening intro/theme song....10 times better than Sunday Night Football (so lame) and Monday Night football...Thursday Night football is a bad idea for fans and players.Fans have to get up early for work. Most of us don't have jobs where we don't have to be in untill 10 in the morning.Players are not physically recoved.Coaches don't have the time to install proper game plans. And the visitor is almost guaranteed to lose... Home teams are 12-3 (.800) on Thursdays over the past two years (discarding Week 1).Those records are far better than the .602 winning percentage NFL home teams have enjoyed in all other games this season and the .571 they have since the start of the 2011 season, according to STATS LLC. Clearly, avoiding the road helps on the short weeks players say are hardest on their bodies - and that the league says will remain a staple of the schedule.http://www.csnbaltimore.com/ravens/nfl-thursdays-tough-players-especially-road Quote

RavenMad Posted October 25, 2012 Posted October 25, 2012 They are very poor to watch. Anyone remember our stinker against the 49ers last year? I think they should only run them between week 5 and week 13 and give teams playing in them their bye before the game. Quote
