Preston: It’s time for the Ravens and Lamar Jackson to part ways
tsylvester replied to vmax's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Ack, Preston is like Stephen A Smith, which ever way the wind blows they blow too, loud and ignorant just to get hits & clicks -
Just to back up my statement on Ohio St qbs in the NFL, and how yes, in this case, history should play a factor when it comes to Cj Stroud
-
Well, could be they were ghost chicken farmers
-
Yeah Grub, if you look over the topics, you can see how stupid and cheese that "poll" is. Funny take on ATH, when pointed out that one team had rat infested areas and was rated higher than the Commandos, the host asked how, what is worse than rats? One of the columnist replied; "Dan Snyder"

Some wow numbers so far at the combine. The UGA, outside linebacker, Nolan Smith, small for a backer, at 6'-2, 248, but man, a 4.39 40, 41.5 in vertical, 10.8 in broad jump, wow..

It's almost as if they have become the Browns team that moved here, remember those first few years? No money, not even enough for a practice squad, terrible practice facilities....
-
I will say, well, we all said this a year or two ago, how the bleep did he not get fired sooner? Lead the league in guys on IR, set a record for that matter, and yet keep your job even when a majority of your players are complaining about him?

& Bateman went off on Eric, taking umbrage with Eric acknowledging the fact we all know that the Ravens can't draft wide outs. They must have made up, since Bateman deleted the tweet that had nothing to do with strength & fittness.. Odd goings on at the castle, as they say

My bet, Kodak Black( who has broken his probation and is now ordered to get drug counseling) is the leak in the call to Stephen A Smith. Just a guess... -
Jalen Carter is set to slip way down, from a sure fire top 5 to Likely the high 20's. He was foolish, reckless, driving drunk, racing, that lead to the death of two his friends, speeds over 100 mph. Frankly I was hoping the Ravens WOULD NOT, have a shot at drafting him, if he avoids jail. Why? Because he takes more plays off than any defensive linemen I've seen in decades. Yes, ive seen every one of his games, you know my love for UGA, and yes, he is incredibly strong, quick, powerful, pick an adjective. But he also tires easily, is only really good as a 2 down linemen. Nope, you won't hear the talking heads say that about him. Sure, Kirby loves to rotate his lines repeatedly throughout the play series and game, to keep them fresh. But you will still see Carter take plays off. This latest news about him just makes it more clear to steer clear of him if he stays out of prison. Don't get me wrong, at his age I did plenty of racing, even had an accident (ironically the guy who hit me while I was racing my buddy, wad the one who was drunk, totaled his 72 vet).... So I judge Jalen on the field not on the mistake. It was not his fault the girl was really drunk and didn't know how to race. She hit a curb going around a bend at 105, went through a pole, a tree and landed against a house. She just misjudged how much room to the curb, happens when you are not used to driving an suv and are drunk, twice the legal limit

Yep, he would have bounced from the Ravens too with all of the turmoil going on at qb. Smith is younger, better fit for the team, a real blessing that Wagner turned down the Ravens offer

Ya know, as fans, there is not much we can do about this situation. Don't get it Twisted, Sister, all we can do really is put on a Quiet Riot on message boards, so sing, yell, join us. -
The problem with Hooker, he gets lost in his head. There was a stat his own coach realized, quite telling. When Hooker snaps the ball with 15 seconds or less on the playclock, he makes the most mistakes, picks, errant passes, his completion percentage drops drastically. With more than 15 seconds on the play clock, he is amazing. His entire career has been both amazing and head scratching. He has been the cause of many great comebacks and also the reason his team has lost big leads, heart breaking losses. I'm not sure about him as a pro, may be the one, may take years to develop, may never develop

Jimmy G needs a perfect pocket, a great pass blocking offensive line, he is a statue. That is why the 9ers wanted to move away from him, to get someone more mobile. While the Ravens have a good run blocking line, they are an average pass blocking line.

Yeah, it would likely be a bidding war with Geno and Carr, but I would make a run at Geno...

A fitting or is that fighting, name for the circumstances, War and what the two sides should be saying -
Man, I was stating this thread to discuss our back up qb Huntley, but now, Geno has blossomed, at least for a year he along with Carr, Marriotta,TanneyHill, Wentz, maybe even Ryan are or will be free agents, not too mention Baker. No trades needed.. If they trade Lamar, which one should they bring in, if any? We have seen what Huntley can & cannot do, even with a solid defense and running game. I don't even think Coach Monken can turn Huntely into something more than a back up. In fact, I might have to move on from him. Good team player, but we can find anyone for that role..

How does that saying go, there are lies then there are damn lies. Now that is quite disappointing, disingenuous, quite a play on words. But why could that be? My guess is #2, as in that poop that comes out after a spicy, greasy meal that not only melts your tush hole, but the wall paper off the walls and stinks so bad the EPA shows up to arrest you for serious air pollution violations. Yes, he, Lamar does not want to scare away any potential trade partners, so he had to stay here. Using the NFLPA, who has many goals, one of them is to get the most money for all of the players, to set precedent with contracts. Hey, I am all for equal pay, women's rights, fair hiring practices, but to use a player who clearly does not understand all that a contract like that will do to the game going forward is poor management. Good luck. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/02/26/recent-demaurice-smith-interview-made-it-clear-that-lamar-jackson-wants-a-fully-guaranteed-deal/ -
