Yes, things get testy at camp, especially when it is a joint practice. I applaud Nate for coming to his teammates side. However, throwing punches on a football field with helmets on, larger men, starting a brawl, is not the smart play. Per PFF. I doubt many of their stats, but this one stands out as true as we all say last year. Having a running qb helps a ton, add in a back like Henry, and quick, speedy wide outs = touchdown more times than not in the redzone.

He has 1 or 2 more good years left, especially if Stewart works out. That will help him go against tightends, much easier to beat when pass rushing.

I agree about the cap. But how many times have we seen a player get paid top dollar one year, then watch another player get more, only to have player A comeback a year later, 2 years later and want more? Maybe Jerry just wants to make sure his player is the highest at a position. I do agree, that team is soft, so much talent and even when healthy they cant win anything. Been that way for decades, since their last super bowl.

Just typical plays by the players to get their money. Like a certain Browns' player who "wanted out" until he got his money... Jerry is playing this smart. Had he signed Mincah last year, Parsons would still hold out to get more money this year after the other ends got paid more
