Ran a 4.37 40. He is built like a tank, not much in accuracy, not sure he can read defenses properly, but if he can catch, he would make a very receiver

Vikes are out on Roger's, looks like it is either the Stillers or the Giants... easy choice there.

Will the Stillers trade for Cousins?
tsylvester replied to tsylvester's topic in Pittsburgh Steelers
More are saying that Fields was miffed he got benched, felt he was the better player last year; delusional. Reports are that the Stiller qb room was not very, enjoyable and Fields just wanted to move on to a team that "really wanted him". Foolish on his part, he stands a better chance of winning on the Steelers. -

They didn't want to pay him what the Jets did, reports are that they wanted him, but the Jets offer was a shock to them -

They are so soured on Russle that Flacco is their back up plan. Joe would get killed behind that offensive line -
Cant afford a real good defense, so keep the high scoring offense and hope to draft defense well, very, very well

Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins told Fox Sports on Sunday that they have agreed to contract extensions. Chase agreed to a four-year, $161 million deal that includes $112 million guaranteed, while Higgins agreed to a four-year, $115 million deal that is guaranteed for the first two years, they told Fox Sports. Chase's deal has an annual average of $40.25 million, setting an NFL record for the highest average annual salary for a non-quarterback. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/44284476/bengals-agree-extensions-jamarr-chase-tee-higgins

He has a little more left in the tank than Roger's, and a very high salary, but compared to reports for what Roger's wants, maybe he is a better deal

Yes, Rush should be able to win some games if called upon, at the very least he can throw the ball farther than 10 yards, unlike the old man. Now, will Cleveland take this proverbial 2nd chance to heart, prepare and practice properly? If so, we have Merkari's replacement.

In a surprise move, the Ravens resigned Cleveland, when healthy, mentally & physically, a good versitile lineman. They also signed Cooper Rush to a 2 year deal worth up to $12.2 million. I guess and am glad the JJ back up plan is likely over.
-
I'm hoping Walker can learn from Hopkins, they are very similar type receivers. I sure hope he isn't another Ravens drafted receiver busts. Big, lightening fast.

Humphries did the team a solid, restructuring his contract to lower his cap number this year from $18 mil to $1.2, convetfing the $16 mil to bonus and adding two void years, saving the team a little over $13 mil in cap space. https://www.si.com/nfl/ravens/news/baltimore-ravens-restructure-marlon-humphrey-contract

Yep, likely why he is taking so long, trying to decide if he can take the chiding from those moves via the media

Board replaced with Jake Hummel, and excellent special teams and back up line backer from the Rams Wallace was also resigned

Round & round he goes, where will he sign, nobody knows. But Rogers will sign with someone one day, someone stupid enough to over pay. If Minnesota wants him, that would be his best chance to win. Solid team, great offensive system, play half your games in doors. Far better offensive line & system than Pit has. Their future qb is still almost half the season away from just being ready to play and no one has any real idea if the kid can play. Pit, sure, decent team, two very good wide outs who want as many throws as there are in a game. Both will pout though if they are open and the ball either doesn't come their way or is errantly thrown, no matter the reason. Their line is not very good, ask Russ or Justin, so be ready to pull a Brady or Manning and just fall down to avoid being hit often.

Micheal Pierce retires, great guy, gonna need to replace that bulk https://foxbaltimore.com/sports/sports-unlimited/baltimore-ravens-michael-pierce-retirement-nfl

15 picks, Eric should be able to replenish this team with top quality players at positions of need.
-
The Ravens, Cowboys and Dolphins received the most compensatory picks with four each, and the Chargers, 49ers and Seahawks each will have three additional selections. 1 4th, 5th, 2 in the 6th

My question, why did KC not want him back? Why did he leave them? Seeing him last year, I'm not so sure he has much left in the tank.

1 year, $6 mil https://www.wmar2news.com/local/ravens-sign-deandre-hopkins-to-one-year-6m

1 year right around 1, 1.5 mil, great deal

Riccard back in the fold, good move, a Raven through and through https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/patrick-ricard-agrees-to-re-sign-with-ravens

They have to trim the cap down by tomorrow, so I expect they will announce some reworked deals with Humphries, Henry, Lamar, maybe even Smith
-
Board is gone, he was good depth on defense, very good special teams player. This draft is going to be of major importance.

Harrison to the Stillers, no big loss, good at the line of scrimmage, but not in coverage. Small money, not likely to move the comp pick meter
