There aren some major issuee with this defense. Tackling ornlack therr of is a huge issue. It is just mind boggling that professional football players, especially Ravens, cant tackle. Missed in the win celebration is Tayvon Young 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty in the last minute that should have cost this team the game. But this weekend, field goals were hard to make.... It speaks to the team discipline, lack there of... The linebackers, no matter who they put in, Queen, Board, Harrison, are always out of position, rarely making the stop when they should. They can't cover, can't tackle, can't make proper reads. The secondary just can't cover, none of them. I know, injuries at safety have people out of position, but covering man to man should not be affected; they can't. Not even alll world Humphries! .. The offensive line is in shambles, they can't even get out Lamar's way when he runs. I know it's still early in the season, they have time to gell, to maybe get healthy, but the Colts should not have shut this runnimg game down, though the play calling also helped keep it down, then the score did.... They need to fix this lack of tackling or this team is not going to win many more games

Wow, never saw that coming. Lets the Raiders out of that stupid $100 million contract over 10 years. What he said 10 years ago was wrong, but to cost him his job, today? This cancel culture is out of control. Well, let me correct my self. Given the new information that has been uncovered in ALL of the emails, not just those about D Smith, Gruden is a crass person, clearly. "Never meant to hurt anyone"? Just what do you think those words about women, African Americans, LGBT, about human beings, would do?

Wow, I told you to hold onto your hats! Perfect ending to a crazy weekend of football.... Lamar sets another recrord, this one for completion %, + yards + touchdowns, and no picks. Good things since the defense didn't show up on time and the running game mysteriously disappeared, even Lamar's 60 yards rushing was very labored. See what happens when you try to "cheat" to keep a record alive! Just win baby, to steal a quote

This team looks very very slow.. Did they water the field before the game? The line is five yards down field while the colts defensive line is in the back field.. This is ugly
-
A funny stat, the Browns were the first team in league history to score 40+ pts, have over 500 yards of offense and zero, 0, turnovers yet still lose.... Powder Blues are a very good offensive team... Bills look tight as well. This AFC looks real tough...

Good point, maybe... Frankly, I think it was more am ignorant comment than one from a rascist stand point. Commenting on someone's looks, other than the Kardashian's, is wrong, especially in a job related manner.

The Bears beat down on the Raiders! Hold onto your hats folks...

Yeah-yeah- sure-sure okay... Have you watched football, college, pro this weekend? So really weird and crazy stuff going on... Yesterday might have been the best college football day of all time, the games were incredible.... Today, Green Bay misses 2 field goals combined at the end of the game & over time, Cinci does the same.... The Vikes have the ball, a 7 pt lead with 2:34 left in the game and still had to kick a field goal with 3 seconds left to win....

He did....

Real interesting interview with tucker
tsylvester replied to papasmurfbell's topic in Baltimore Ravens
Seeing Mason Crosby, Packers, miss 3 field goals (two at the wnd of the game) & an extra point, McPherson (Cinci) missing 2 (game winning) field goals, really shows how special Tucker is.... -
Yep, Brown is the better of the two at run blocking, they are about equal guve or take at pass blocking. How much cheaper Brown will be we shall see when KC ponies up.
-
They already have him on the team in Harrison, who tackles well but struggles in coverage. And in Mosely, who can't cover and is often out of position... Besides that, they don't have the cap room to sign him. The Packers have a deal in olace already with him
-
Sell until the passing game becomes consistent. Until then, they will keep doing it...

Another game to watch on Tuesday morning.... Hate night games, man am I getting old

Can the Ravens knock another qb out of the game? Just turn the music up loud, Wentz will sprain a knee dancing to it... They have given up 13 plays of 20 yards or more, 16th most in the league, 4 plays over 40 tied for 2nd most in the league. Big plays will be there to be made, can they capitalize? They are giving up 4.1 yards per carry; pound them, UP THE MIDDLE. Bring back hey diddle diddle, run up the middle. Like the Denver, Indi will sell out to stop the run, thus giving up big plays.... Their offense is nothing like the Cheifs, nor the Raiders mostly because their line isn't stellar and their qb made of glass... This should be a win if the Ravens can stay focused, healthy, and PRACTICE!
-
Don't know if the defense, pass coverage, is good enough to stand up to the offense of the Chargers, or even the Cowboys. They match that of the Cheifs, albeit with sliightly better offensive lines. Is this passing game good enough to be consistent to beat the Charger's defense? It should be to beat the Cowboys defense, even though they are playing well right now. Seven seems fair, we shall see how this team comes together over the next few games. One thing is certain, they can't afford any more injuries

3-1 could have been maybe even should have been 4-0, or even 1-3. Just like last year, this team cost or almost cost them selves the game, they were not truly beaten. Also like last year, they had a myriad of players miss games, leaving no depth where depth was needed and yet, overcame. It's hard not to give them an A for the first 4 games, is it really a quarter when there are now 17 games? Lamar threw for over 300 yards for only his 3rd time, it was needed to some extent, since the Ravens refused to try to establish the run, given Denver had 9, 10 men box sets, wow. We seen this dog & piny show appear then disappear for games on end; no time, no one open, Lamar unable to throw accurately/timely, then boom, like magic, it all works. Much like the Denver game, 50% with no time to throw in the first half, 70% with a mix of all day to throw.. Is that a forcast for snow? It's hard to grade a running game with 3, 4 new runningbacks all signed off of the street hours before the season started, but we see glimpses of hope. All we can do is follow the cliche, one game at a time, win ugly like Detroit if need be this year. Wait, didn't we say that last year?
-
Coach Fangio is blowing his top over the last play, clwiming player safety, & I agree to some point. But if he were that concerned over player ssfety, why not take a knee on his team's final drive down by so much that one more score would not matter? Side note, Bills tied a Ravens defensive record with their 2nd shut out in their first four games. Can they keep it up?
-
Yeah that first drive by Denver was worrisome, they ran right over the defense. But then.... Nice recovery by the defense.
-
Im.stupid because I think this game is easy
-
Yeah, they should be moving on from Ben soon
-
I think he can, but is it worth it to hold Williams back?
-
That was foolish, risk further injuries for a record; nice win though
-
Good, no sense giving uo a cheap score
