  1. The play calling was very suspect. The defensive coverage, at the end especially, 1 man rush when they only need a field goal to tie, horrible. Yeah, coaching to some degree. A coach should put their players in a position to suceed, I thought the coaches failed in that regard. The constant changes of personnel on offense drove me nuts. Freeman gets a good run, they take him out after one play. Same for Murray. A wide receiver screen with a tightend, instead of a speedy wideout? No play designs to get a wide out open when they are obviously doubling Andrews? This was ugly, special teams is the only unit to play well all game.
  2. They certainly didn't deserve it, but a win is a win in this league... Wow...
  3. Ravens win are you kidding me, Ravens win
  4. The play calling sucks The line sucks Huntley sucks The announcers suck The Bears suck This might be the worst game ever.... And it was actually winnable A typical lack of tackling leads to a long touchdown play. I've never seen a team tackle it's own players so much... My gosh this is atrocious
  5. So is he lactose intolerant? Says he has "never really been sick", yet this is the third time this year, not counting the two times he got covid, or atleast tested positive twice. Is it IBS? He should know by now not to eat spicy foods... Being responsible is not just about ball security, nor about staying out of trouble off of the field. But, as the saying goes, the best ability is availability. It can't be a cold, cause if it were and a cold kept you from playing, then you don't deserve a big contract. Let's get this "illness" taken care of now and be responsible for what you eat, if it is a food issue,
  6. Time to kick the tires and light the fires! An ugly win still counts, so do what can be done then do some more!
  7. Yep, a great run down
  8. If Lamar is out, this could be ugly.....
  9. Cover 0 is easy to beat, quick slants across the middle & skinny posts from the slot. But, you have to be ready for it. See it, audible, throw it. No delay
  10. It's us against the world & the world is in trouble!
  11. No doubt, I buy that one, who would have thought. I was on the phone with my daughter who was in college at the time as the Ravens were driving for the game winning score. Told her, "after they score the touchdown I will buy us tickets to the Super Bowl"... Guess I was the jinx, a dropped pass and a missed field goal...
  12. No practice all week, a sloppy field: Rein all over them bears, who will be settling down for hibernation this time of year. Maybe a slow start, but heat up those hand warmers, the Ravens will be flying high by game's end...
  13. IBS for Lamar, perhaps? Seems he is getting this "illness" quite often so perhaps. The flue is going around, why boggles my mind. If we are following covid protocols, hands washed, distance, mask, then how can the flue spread? No matter, we ain't taken no prisoners this Sunday, off with their heads! Time to make a nice throw rug of bear hyde...
  14. Lesson to learn; don't gamble..
  15. Bell is cut, look for more quickness in the back field; bout time.... Ravene rebound..
  16. Food for thought; a game featuring 2 future hall of fame quarterbacks was 0-3 heading into the 4th quarter and currently sits 10-0 with 7 mins left.. Both qbs have thrown a pick, neither a touchdown pass at this point.... Again, food for thought when judging young qbs ...
  17. Buy for sure, they just get more exposed; wear down, play outside the scheme trying to prove themselves. We may end up 8-9....
  18. You can say that about most of the quarterbacks in the league. Green Bay likely wins if Rogers played against the Cheifs. Frankly if Lamar just plays average and completes those down field throws more than running for five yards, the Ravens win...
  19. Colon may take over at center, Bozeman may still work out; both are still young and can play mulitple positions. Phylips is still growing into being a right tackle, but he too plays guard well. I think as the season goes on he may turn out to be a decent right tackle. So that is three right there, depth, solid starters, young. I think they definitely need to draft tackle early in 2022 draft, even IF Stanley comes back, which I doubt. There are going to be plenty of choices in that draft, some real good talent coming out at tackle. They have a ton of draft picks, they can find a safety, linebacker, defensive tackle, rush end and corner depth in this draft; it's deep.
  20. It's not as if the entire line needs to be replaced. We are talking one maybe two. Remember Cleveland is coming back from an injury, he is a stud. Colon should also get playing time, he has shown he belongs. There are two guards/center, right there. So left tackle, maybe a right tackle. It's not all bad and can be done in one draft.
  21. Yep, a db's position tells anlot about what defense they are in. If he is lined on the outside shoulder, he expects safety help to the inside. If on the inside shoulder, no safety help. Lamar doesn't seem to be able to grasp this, there have been times when itnis man to the field side and he ignores the deep ball down the sidelines that is open ifbhe throws it properly. Now, he is not the most accurate deep passer, but he has made this throw a time or two. Look, this game is different if Watkins catches that touchdown pass placed perfectly on the end line, but he lost sight of it for some reason.. Lamar has Brown open on a simole in route against zone to the boundary, but didn't trust the read. The safety was back, 8 yards, Andrews had the linebacker and corner occupied. Sure, Brown would get hit hard by the safety, but throw it on time, it's a 15 yard gain instead of 4 yard run by Lamar.
  22. See that is part of the problem. Roman changes personnel after every play, it drives me nuts. It is not as if the runningbacks all run the same way. Bateman is a huge play maker for slants; use him on those; touchdown...
  23. Yes, via the draft, draft well. Draft linemen who are used to a running qb....
  24. That was last year, he changed his cleats three times before getting it right. I think the Ten game?
  25. Bingo, they are rushing to contain, that is how you do it, rush only to the level of the qb, then close in. Lamar would be better suited to go from center, giving him his timing, 3 steps throw. Rather than shot gun, one step wait, throw. He also needs to trust his eyes, throw timing routes, not just throw to an open man. He struggles with that still. Not sure why they kept calling the wide receiver screen, Miami was sitting on that play. Also the check down to the back in the flat on blitzes. Change it up for crying out loud. Rise up, check down over the middle so as to not get passes batted down.
