Brain fart, just move along, the stink will clear out with a little breeze

A question on everyone's mind. How does Jordan Love get to play when he has had close contact with Rogers who has covid? Or anyone else on the team for that matter?
-
Worst mistake Bal made was replacing him and Scott on the radio broadcast they were great together. A man who truly loved this city, this team. A great player in his time, a good man.
-
Boyle coming back will help with the running game. He is the best tight end blocker, good for one penalty a game, but he has been a piece missed from the running game. Westerly, if he can play, will really help the defense, big, fast, good instincts. He can help shut down Diggs if he plays.

I wonder if the Bengals losing to the Jets, giving the Ravens a half game lead in the North, bought them an extra week to recover?
-
The league and team were stupid, he was never wearing a mask on the sidelines, in press conferences, at the practice facility. Even after he was turned down for the "new way of vaccination". Maybe he thought the shot was a mind control agent as in his girlfriend's crappy movie....

Yeah, there is no time to react on the highway, let alone on a side road, where a deer, dog, child, parked car, car pulling can happen at amy time. Reports are his bac was twice the legal limit..
-
He now has covid, to miss at least the Cheifs game...

Ill be honest, a long time ago in my early 20's I was so smashed all I could think of was how close to home I was. Then I awoke to a car's horn, their headlights, as I swerved to get back into my lane, the right side of the road. Thankfully no one was hurt, no crash, just me thinking how blessed I was the next day and every day after. But for there by the grace of God goes I.... His blood work will determine if he gets 2-20 years with no probation or just the lawsuits...

Nope, not even worth a sniff. Motivation was never his problem, understanding the game was. Now that his speed/quickness is gone he can't cover that up

Such a shame all the way around, one mistake can change so many lives

One person died, Ruggs was transported to the hospital.... https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/11/02/report-henry-ruggs-involved-in-serious-car-accident/

Vikes are a wounded animal with a broken claw. This should be a cake walk if one approaches with confident caution. They are a werewolf team, catch them at the right time, they will help you move a couch. At the wrong time, they will eat you.

Football, quality wise, is down this year, both in college and the pros. Is it covid let down? Is it the change in practice policy? I don't know, but something is amiss.. What does this mean? As VA said, a hot team at the right time maybe this year more than any other can make a deep run and even runaway with a world title.

Jets did everything they could to lose that game in the final 2:10, run out of bounds, throw two passes... They got bailed out by a terrible personal foul penalty.... Other note, Calvin Ridley is stepping away from football to focus on mental health..

Just go in with no expectations, take what comes....

Memory.loss, that only happens if we have a memory left.... Wait, where are we going and who are you?
-
Wolf will be back along with a few others after the break, so hopefully they can get some stability, consistency.
-
True, was this just a reverse of the defense that gives up 400 yards in the first 3 quarters then shuts down offenses in the 4th? Maybe I am just reaching, the youth and the quality of back up players now starting, playing more is inconsistency?

I would love to know what happned in the lockeroom at half time. Something had to have happened for them to comoletely collapse in the 2nd half. Did the prevent defense in the last two minutes tick the players off? You simply don't go from dominating a game to being dominated like that when the other team doesn't make any changes. There has to be a dead fish somewhere in the lockeroom, right? Humphries doesn't go from being a shutdown corner to Burnt Toast Jenkins in one half. They weren't tired from the game, the clock was pretty even at half time. Shoot, even Averate was able to man up and cover very well in the first half. It's more than just pressure on the pocket; granted Burrow did more 3 step drops, but come on... Tackling that went well in the first half is all of a sudden an issue in the 2nd? Nope, not buying it, something went wrong between the players & coaches...

Max, were you the one trying to take over play by play for Wbal? https://www.foxnews.com/sports/ravens-broadcast-fan-climb-booth-drink

Yeah, same type of rush you should do against running qb's, stay level, close in around him. We knew this line would be a work in progress, there is a big difference in pass blocking for a pocket passer like say Brady, and blocking for an elusive runner like Lamar or even Murray. I am sure they will work it out.
-
Should be, hopefully, Murray and Allen made the jump, the turn. Lamar is close, having a healthy Bateman will help, he seems to get open regularly. The line giving him a second more in time would help. I think he just needs to relax and play, not try to aim passes, just hitch & throw. If it's not there, run. We see young qb's struggle, shoot even Burrow was at what, 49% or so in the first half. Mahomes had a horrible game yesterday, even this season so far for that matter. Time will tell, that's why I say wait until season's end to see where he stands. Preston's article was a bit premature, the offense does not look that much better passing wise, stats can lie, so praising the "new coaches" is a bit much, but then that is par for the course for Mikey.
-
Good point. The line coach should be working with them on creating lanes for him.
-
Wait for the season to play out. Comfortable is not a word that I would use to describe him in the pocket. He took five sacks last game, several the game before. Are they all on him? No, the line has had issues with pass blocking. But he is hessitating, seems to struggle with when to take off or throw leading to sacks. Sure, we want him to keep his eyes down field, but so far it appears that he has no pocket awareness. Burrow wasn't sacked at all in the first half, dispite multiple times when his line broke down. Yet he threw the ball away, escaped, after feeling the rush. But not Lamar. It may be that he is stuck between the pocket passer and running quarterback. Shoot, he is even running into, tripping over his own linemen. Has the passing improved? Sure, a bit, nothing consistent though. Receivers are still getting little seperation, Lamar is still hessitant to throw those outside the numbers passes. One play yesterday, he connected with Brown early in the game, deep down the sideline, but lead him out of bounds for no catch. As the announcer pointed out later in the game, Lamar had Brown lined up against a linebacker, a linebacker! Just trust and throw on time down the right sideline, let Brown run away and under the pass it's a touchdown. Lamar pulled it down and threw short.. These are just two plays where he either.missed a throw, deep outside the numbers or refused to make the throw. He has improved to some extent, but also regressed in another.
