  1. Prep the weapons, check supplies, plan the attack let there be no surprise. Put the wind in your face so your prey won't smell you coming, warm up the engine, get it humming. Hunt my dogs, get hungry for the fight, hunt my dogs spread your wings and take flight!
  2. U gonna make me break out Taylor Swift?
  3. Andre Smith signed, another good fa signing this time of year...
  4. Carolina really reached, wow, 7 years for in my opinion an over achieving college coach.. One really good year where they caught lightning in a bottle... I am surprised Garret would take an oc job so soon, take some time to relax, rethink the way you coach & call plays.... And with the Giants of all teams if he takes the job,
  5. Ten loves to flood the short middle of the field, that is where Lamar loves to throw most of the time. So what will he see open up? Will he throw on time, or will he wait until the receiver breaks open? Let's hope he is right on time and not too anxious in the pocket..
  6. Hired Mike McCarthy, great move by them, he is an excellent coach and they should improve enough to win that div and make some noise. Now about their free agents and the salary cap....
  7. If you look how the Ravens ended the season, the last four games; yes they won but they won ugly with a host of mistakes. All season they have struggled to stop the off tackle runs, the Titans main run scheme. I hate this match up, their defense is quick-fast in the back 7, just what is needed to slow Lamar's running. Titans are terrible on defense in the redzone, great news the Ravens are the best offense there; can they keep drives alive and get there? Just as keeping Mahomes, Brady, Brees off of the field is important, so too is keeping Henry and our defense off the field Who makes the most mistakes will stay home. Tannyhill is a decent qb who moves well enough in the pocket. But he can be pressured into picks, confused with coverage. This game scares me most.
  8. Piss poor coaching cost the Bills the game and almost cost the Texans their win. Ten did what was expected; run the ball the Pats can't stop the run. Neither can the Cheifs and the Ravens struggle with off tackle runs; Ten specializes in those runs.... Houston can't protect Watson, the won their only game me thinks, or did the Bills lose it; a 16 pt lead, ouch. Saints should romp, Seattle too, but Seattle like Phili is too banged up now so they are likely one & done. Saints vs Frisco championship game, Cheifs vs Ravens Championship game
  9. Sauron now giggles with glee as his plan to take over this realm slowly unfolds. It is true that he lost many battles thus far, but he always has something brewing deep beneath the fires at the center of the earth. He now has prepared a juggernaut to unleash on our brave warriors. He plans to invade our clan's territory with a foe from their ancient past; a Titan of an army. Though this army doesn't do many things exceptionally well, one thing they do-do, they do very, very well. They host a mountain of a wall to move at will with their ungodly juggernaut, trying to impose their will, to take what is not their's. This monstrosity now stands between our clan and their goal, vying to block their path to eternal glory. Our warriors will need to be rested, strong in heart, mind and soul to take on Sauron's beasts. Only by playing like the North wind blows, as one, swarming all over this beast can they stop him in his tracks. Yes our warriors will need all of their might to stop this monster Sauron has brought up from the depths of the earth. The enemy will march into our territory with confidence, can our brave warriors clear the path of these mongrels and continue on their quest? Fulfill their destiny? While only time will tell, the metal of our warriors has been tested and proven; they need now only to unleash all that they have learned, for their story is still be written.
  10. Why should we be nervous or upset if they lose? We've never seen a season when they've gone 14 & 2. So what ever happens going forward now, there is no reason to boo nor is there a reason to frown. Just take it all in, enjoy every win, because no matter what happens the future is about to begin.
  11. We can pull up the threads from most every message board and see for the most part, aside from the ill informed homer picks, not many had this team winning more than 9 games. Few seriously had them winning more than 10, none had them 14 unless they failed a sobriety test...
  12. The worst thing that can happen to ruin young quarterbacks is having revolving doors at the oc position. Losing Roman could set Lamar back years. A good defensive coordinator is easier to find to fit your system. 3-4 vs 4-3, types of pressure and the set up of coverages you play. Simple questions to answer by a phone call with a potential coordinator and viewing his game tapes. Finding someone to fit this offense as it is constituted, well you might have to over pay a college coach from an option school to come to the NFL...
  13. Ten is not the same team as last year. Houston is now "healthy" with Watt possibly back and Fuller, so they too would be a different team. What worries me a bit is the sloppy play at the end of the regular season, fumbles, troubles on the exchange, poor special teams coverage, missed reads. Hopefully the rest will help, Lamar seeing the game from the sidelines, maybe the team will pay closer attention to how fortunate they were to win some of those games. Plenty of playoff experience on this team, some good leaders as well. They have a mission as all teams do this time of year and they know all of the teams they might face...
  14. So now our clan's story turns to another chapter, but does not end. After all of the battles, now our warriors stand atop all of their enemies, 14 victories to only 2 defeats. Our warriors now await their next challenger; only time will tell who will dare enter their territory, for all must come try to disgrace our clan's sacred land and try to keep our warriors from their prize. Time ks now their foe, the first battle of their quest. Will they get sucked into the dark lands of folk lore, listening to the chatter of their exploits? Will pride get the best of them? Will they rest on their laurels? Will they face a familiar foe looking to avenge an earlier lost battle at the hands of our brave warriors? If so, will they take them lightly? A new year is upon us, a new season unfolds, eight clans vie for the glory, the right to hoist the Silver Betty, but there can only be one. The winner will have to be steadfast in their preparations, stay focussed in their attention to detail of their battle plans for each campaign and be determined to carry it out without prejudice and show no mercy. To win it all it will take brains, braun, skill, tenacity and a willingness to sacrifice persanal pride for that of the glory of the clan's. Will our great warriors lose their first battle, or will they continue their winning ways of 12 victorious battles in a row? Can they just win one at a time? We have to wait until they write the rest of their story, we must keep reading.
  15. Anyone not Tennessee; very dangerous team. Solid defense, great running game, and Tanny can sling it. We know Houston, Buffalo, both good teams, well rounded, & while it would be a 2nd time seeing either of them this year, I escared of Ten, let the Pats knock them out
  16. Reasonable price.
  17. Sing along! Head, shoulders, knees & toes, knees & toes....
  18. I agree, while his speed and quickness are good when blizting, closing the gap etc, his instincts and skill just are not good enough to warrant more playing time. When they sat him down and looked for other backers, his number was up here at season's end..
  19. It’s been a great season for the Ravens, but as that great season winds down, things may not be OK between the team and linebacker Patrick Onwuasor. According to reporters on the scene, Onwuasor and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had a heated conversation on the practice field, and Onwuasor left practice afterward. Harbaugh told reporters afterward that he considered it an “internal matter” and wouldn’t divulge details of what was said. Onwuasor’s playing time has declined this season and he is believed to be disappointed by that. After playing almost every defensive snap in the first five games of the season, he has played less than half the snaps in every game since. Last week he played a season-high 11 special teams snaps, and it’s not unusual for players to take it as a demotion if they’re getting less time on defense and more on special teams. It’s unclear what today’s incident will mean for his status going forward.
  20. This is one we have never expected this year, a regular season game, with nothing to fear. We can sit back & relax, just take it all in, for the real season is about to begin. So whether they win or if they should lose, we can just sit back and kick off our shoes.
  21. Sauron used his magic spells to slow our warriors' minds, to confuse them, to cause them to make errors in judgement. Yet our warriors gave no quarter, they cleared their minds, they saw their foe for who they were, then they pounced on their prey. With power and determination they turned their foe into dust, and when the battle was over our warriors had taken the will from their foes, they were once again conquerors. They now stand firmly entrenched on the top of all who dared covet the Silver Betty. Those who's quest is to prove their metal to be the best now must come to our clan's ancestral land, where great battles have been fought since the dawn of time. Our warriors now how have time to heal, to rest, to prepare to face any and all who dare to enter this great territory. They have time to look back on the past, not to glory in it, but to learn from their mistakes even in their 13 victories. For we can learn much from lost battles, learn more from mistakes we make even in victories. You see, our past is preparation for the present, that we will have a glorious future. How many more battles can our warriors clain victory in? The story is yet to be written, but their quills are at the ready.
  22. Coach said there was no structural damage, likely a cramp, maybe a strain. Good news if he is being honest..
  23. Yep, he locked up the MVP today me thinks.
  24. Ten is the more dangerous team in the playoffs as far as them or Pit. Better qb & running game, defenses are about the same.
  25. I suppose I should also give props to Hill, afterall, the wind wasn't blowing so he had a very good game. Several key catches for first downs and the touchdown run.
