  1. Vorhees likely not to play
  2. I'm looking to see if they have progressed, both offensively and defensively. Can the line continue to improve? Can the back half of the defense as well. This includes the linenackers who have been lax at getting depth in their drops. This is one reason why the deep middle has been been gutted so far this season. Let us not forget the pass rush, Owe & company have done a pretty good job of pressuring the pocket, can they continue? Can Mads and Pierce crush the middle to give Josh no where to escape? How about the play calling on both side of the ball? That area needs to be better as well. Improvement, capitalize on last week's good parts, improve on the bad, play, penalties. If they have over 100 yards in penalties again, they won't stand much chance of beating the Bills.
  3. The last time these two teams met, 2022, the Ravens lead 20 to 10 at half time. Of course, the Ravens led 20-3 just before half when the Bills went on a drive that resulted in a touchdown with 9 seconds left in the half. As it turn out, that would be a starting point for a big comeback. The Ravens would not score again, with Buffal winning 23-20. It is one of many games where the defense let's up later in the 2nd quarter, and the offense disappears in the 3rd quarter. If this team wants to make a case for being a legit playoff team, they are going to have to sustain drives, score touchdowns in the 3rd quarter. This will help the defense rest a bit and give them a shot in the arm. People point out all of the blown leads by the defense, but I say, it starts with the offense in the 3rd quarter. Stop the drive killing penalties, sustain the blocks, throw the right pass, makes the crucial catch.
  4. So many questions buzzing around our Ravens, now one of the hottest teams in the league migrated to town for a Sunday night game. One of the biggest questions is: what happens to the defense when the 4th quarter starts? The answer may be as simple as what the offense does in the 3rd quarter, where they have struggled for one reason, penalties, cough cough, or another. Yes, last week the offense seemed to find its rather, for a while, but it will mean little if they cannot keep it rolling this weekend. Who ya got?
  5. That it does my friend, that it does
  6. And the long snapper and the holder
  7. The biggest shocker of the Ravens' season has been Justin Tucker's struggles. The man who has long carried the GOAT torch has missed a field goal in each of the Ravens' first three games – the most misses in the NFL so far. Tucker's first two misses came from beyond 50 yards, drawing scrutiny over his long-distance kicking dating back to last season, but Sunday's miscue in Dallas was from 46 yards. All three were wide left. The miss in Dallas had a particularly dramatic hook after looking like it was heading straight at the start. Head Coach John Harbaugh and Tucker had a talk on the field after the miss. "I just love the guy and respect him. He's everything that you want in a player and friend," Harbaugh said. "Beyond that, for Justin, it's just a technique issue right now that he's working through. I think he's got a technique thing going on. He can work through it. He knows exactly what it is, and he just needs to smooth it back out. I'm very confident that he will." Tucker is 5-of-8 so far this season on his field goal attempts. His other misses were from 53 and 56 yards. Last year, he missed five all season and he's never missed more than seven in a year. Looking at his 46-yard miss in Dallas, it starts straight but there's a dramatic hook halfway through. I'm no kicking expert so I have no idea why, but I'm sure the Ravens know. Confident he'llffix it. Head Coach John Harbaugh and Tucker had a talk on the field after the miss. "I just love the guy and respect him. Tucker has missed a kick in back-to-back games four times in his career (twice in 2015, 2022, and 2023). This is his first time missing a kick in three straight games. Tucker still stands atop NFL history with a career field goal percentage of 89.6%. He's gone through some tough patches throughout his career and come out the other side. "Justin knows that we support him. I try to make sure he knows that. That's part of it, relationship wise," Harbaugh said. "The talent, the ability, all that stuff is there. That hasn't gone anywhere. We see it all the time. But it's a technique thing. I think we approach it from a technical standpoint. [Senior Special Teams Coach] Randy Brown does a great job coaching that part of it. Randy's the foremost guy in the business at that. They work on that every single day. For me, I just try to encourage what I see and understand the technique as well. Justin is a pro. I have great belief that he'll get the job done https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/justin-tucker-technical-issue-kicker-rebound-ravens
  8. The ball is fading on him, common on long kicks. So foot placement, bend it like Beckham, follow through. Or the holder is doing something. I would like to think they would have worked this out by now, with all of the practices, even pre game where he tries to kick 70+ yarders
  9. That is too funny, but how the ball is held, straight up, tilted, could be a reason the longer kicks are floating on him.
  10. Smith does look a step slower, no doubt. I'm not sure about Stout holding, just from the views we get on the tele, the hold and snaps look good. But clearly something is wrong with the kicking game, he is too young to have "lost it"
  11. What was "interesting" was the lack of penalties in the 2nd half called on the Cowboys...
  12. But we have major issues, Tucker, the penalties, Tucker

  18. Cowboys have all 3 timeouts Have to get 1st downs Starts off wrong, Hardy returns it, switches field, flags down of course
