  1. The bag of donuts is full of hot air, he tries to stir the pot then stand back and say I told you so.
  2. Some more this week
  3. Some good stuff in here, the best is that there were no major injuries Here is some on Wiggins One on Cunningham
  4. Not sure how or if he can help, but maybe.. worth a try
  5. Niners taking advantage of having a well performing quarterback on a rookie salary,
  6. Jefferson's best attribute is deep sideline and deep post routes. The two biggest weaknesses that Lamar has right now in the passing game. It would be one thing if a receiver just had to adjust to his deep throws, Jefferson could, but the passes are not even close, they are out of bounds along the sideline No sense brining in someone, especially for that type of money, until or unless Lamar gets more accurate on those routes. Until then, if it happens, keep using rookies, cheap, fast, hope the blind squirrel finds a nut.
  7. Vikes signed Jefferson, imagine that money, Lamar's and Agent 0's on the books
  8. Jeepers did ya see what Waddle signed for? 3 years, 84.7 mil, $76 guaranteed, $28.25 average, the later two most important. They still have Tua to sign, so he and the 2 receivers may, may take up almost half of the yearly cap....
  9. Look, he may be a light bulb about to burn out, but as long as his version lasts the entire season, dat wood bee great.
  10. Ravens have moved Cunningham to wide receiver, not sure why they are using this roster spot for training, it is not as if they are set at every other position...
  11. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/keaton-mitchells-return-not-right-around-the-corner Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell is making progress in his return from a torn anterior cruciate ligament, but he still has months of rehab ahead. Mitchell injured his left knee in a Dec. 17 game against the Jaguars, cutting short his rookie season. “It’s not a come-back-during-training-camp or first game-type of thing. I think we all know that,” Ravens coach John Harbaugh said, via video from the team. “It’s sometime during the season. It’s not like right around the corner. We shouldn’t be biting our fingernails: Is he going to get back? But I will say he’s on schedule, maybe ahead of schedule. He’s doing really well. He’s always got a smile on his face.” Harbaugh said Mitchell will begin running on an anti-gravity treadmill next week. “That’s a positive thing, and we’ll see where it goes,” Harbaugh said.
  12. In the end, they are still the Chargers, no matter the coach or players, they always find a way to lose big games, always.
  13. To bring back a bit of the old days; I'm stupid because I think this game is easy. 13-4, everyone stays healthy, Lamar continues to grow in this offense, can a player actually win 3 MVP's?
  14. Love the late bye week. Hate the Christmas day one and the fact that it is on a streaming service. Hopefully it will air on a local TV station so that I can record it since I don't watch night games
  15. Full schedule release today, I really hate how they have turned this into a circus
  16. Difficult to judge a team one way or another based on week one. Hope for a win, for them to play well, but serious injury free is all I hope for... it will be a good taste for the rookies
  17. True, but by season's end, both teams will be much different, more than what they are compared to the last time they met.
  18. https://www.nfl.com/news/2024-nfl-schedule-release-kansas-city-chiefs-to-host-baltimore-ravens-in-kickoff-game The NFL announced Monday morning that the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs will open the season at Arrowhead Stadium against the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5, at 8:20 p.m. ET on NBC
  19. So long as he got his nutrition figured out so that he avoids tummy aches and exploding diarrhea causing him to miss practices, games... I'm good...
  20. Stroud throws a better deep ball, right now, time will tell if Lamar ever gets more accurate on those deep throws. But, Lamar is clearly a better scrambler, runner, which for me, puts him over CJ. Shoot, 2 MVP's, that says it all. If he were old like Rogers, I could see it, but he isn't much older than Stroud and he just won his 2nd one.
  21. Watch for him in preseason, at 6-6, 315, maybe he emerges at the right tackle.... https://ravenswire.usatoday.com/2024/05/06/julian-pearl-could-be-the-steal-of-ravens-udfa-class/
  22. Cj has to prove he is more than a one hit wonder
  23. I'm not big on rankings, but I am bored so I gave it a read. Pretty good, but Stroud over Lamar? https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/2024-nfl-qb-power-rankings-brock-purdy-jordan-love-crack-top-10-in-first-post-draft-pecking-order/
  24. Lamar says he has lost a lot of weight, down to 205, he should be back to his quickster self. https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10120245-ravens-lamar-jackson-says-hes-lost-25-pounds-since-2022-season-down-to-205 I hope so, he did look a little slow last year, whether that was weight or him not wanting to risk injury by putting the pedal to the floor..
